I think you should go ahead to be honest. Even if you ran a challenge while the other scripts were getting put up.

I agree. Whats the worst that can happen? We'd be reading and writing.
Plus what id like to do is allow an entire week for conceptual work and then start the "timer".
Anyhow.....I will need a RELIABLE person to help me in case I need the help.
So if there are any volunteers, please contact me and we can get this thing running.

I am more than ready!

Please let me know.

Thanks.

A new challenge sounds good after all this time. I would say that it would be best to finish up this challenge first or run things by Maria, but she seems to have disappeared again after saying she'd put the scripts up a couple of weeks back, so I'd say just go for it and see how it works. It doesn't have to be a permanent thing, it's just been a while since people did the scripts for this one so they'd probably like another go while we wait for these to go up. I reckon people wouldn't have a problem reading and writing at the same time.

Okay....

this weekend I will think of the challenge. I think its best if we keep it close to what Maria was doing.....the only change i would like to make is give everyone ONE WEEK to work on their concept or story ideas and then the next week START THE CLOCK!!

IF ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS...........PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO PM ME !!!

I want to thank all of you who plan on participating, wether its submitting a script or just coming in to vote.....just want to thank you all in ADVANCE!
One thing I will work my ass off in doing is making this the most popular thread in the entire site!!!!!

I think that it's been so long since this challenge that, when you want to start a new one up, you may have to go round everyone who usually writes and remind them that the challenge still exists, send a few PMs out. I'm sure people will be keen to do one.

Has anyone seen or heard anything of Maria? Is she still interested in playing a part? She hasn't posted on this thread in a long time when she said she would have the scripts from the last challenge up. Do people still have their scripts? Maybe we could post them anyway.

Seconded on this. It'd be good to read 'em. Maybe give me a bit of inspiration for working on the next challenge

Post those scripts, ill read them and review them.

I havent issued the NEW CHALLENGE because no one has responded about giving me some help if i need it. Just like Maria had M, i need my M!!!

LOL

But I definately agree....post your scripts people, they will no doubt inspire.

Cool. I'll email you mine as well then. I wonder how many of the 17 participants listed on the first page would still have one to show?

Ive received THREE of them so far. The other two need more formatting so as soon as i can get to them I will.
Since EMPIRE changed the POSTING structure, its not as easy to format as it used to be.
Its a labor of love.....yes it is.

If your name is on this list.....im looking for your scripts!!

Willie Mayes Hayes

I didn't actually ever say I was entering this one!

Depending on what the paramaters are, I'll probably enter next month's. Good luck everyone and thanks for taking this up Walter!

Good to see the scripts going up. Hopefully there will be more than three in the end, but I guess this isn't exactly a proper challenge. It would just be nice to get some comments and feedback before moving onto a new one.

As soon as I get all the scripts for the previous challenge I will post them and we can at least give feedback to the authors.
...and then we will start the new challenge.
and just a heads up for the next challenge i won't be using pictures to inspire your scripts so creative control will be 95% yours again.

Woooooooooo!!

Sorry guys.

Not been on here for a while. Totally forgot about the challenge but I did send Maria or M my script. It was on my old laptop but I reckon it will still be saved in my "sent" items in email. I'll dig it out and forward to wgamador.

P.S It was a really shit script
