Levein, in praising Morrison, mentioned the following: tracked back well protected his full back well worked hard to win the ball back composed in possession. Now, this is a winger, against Lichtenstein, Lichtenstein! No praise for his direct runs, his finding space, his good crosses, his willingness to dribble. No, no. no praise for attacking qualities, not for winger. That's the wrooooong message. Instead he praises the man who turned the game (Jesus H. Christ!) for 3 defensive attributes and one thing that any international footballer should be. This is an international manager talking after a shocking performance at home to Lichtenstein. Attack, attack, attack. Praising a winger for defending! Against bloody Lichtenstein! Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaage! Also, Kenny Miller said we were "well in the game"... AGAINST LICHTENSTEIN! Seriously. The whole lot were so far from a mentality that'll get us anywhere worth going it's beyond comical. Urging caution (caution!) against Lichtenstein. The very cowardice of it was amply displayed by McManus' ludicrous defending for their goal. Still, at least McCulloch's suspended.
