Really enjoying this game so far, I think it's the right type of balance between RPG and Shooter/Adventure for me to still take enjoyment out of it, once a game gets a little too RPG heavy I lose all interest (well not strictly true) I enjoyed Fallout 3, what I played of it, but the sheer amount of choices in games like that have me worrying so much that I can't afford to drop a single item, or skip a single side mission etc that I end up not getting anywhere Started two stories, an online Co-op game with Giz, and a local splitscreen co-op game, both of them obviously rely on the two of us being available to play, so progressing slowly through the game, but making it last is not a problem for me at all. On the game with Giz, which I started first I decided to take the role of the Sniper, made sense from what little I knew of the game (and for some reasons still does make sense), but the pure shiteness (at least to begin with) of the special action has put me off the character somewhat. In the other game I'm the Berserker, and his special action skill is much more useful. Still getting to grips with which guns are most effective against each enemy but I'm becoming a bit more accustomed to the different weapon types. In the game with Giz we got to the Mine Key section against the massive guy forgotten his name now, and we literally spent about 45 minutes getting to him in that hideout and then another 15-20 minutes killing him. Then in my other game we got through that section in just a handful of minutes, infact while there have been tough sections along the way in that game, the only real section that was really tough was the mines themselves, and then the cave full of the purple crabs had it's moments. What I have noticed however is that despite learning that you can order the missions you are currently doing (didn't realise that in the game with Giz hence why we struggled so much) that we don't seem to level up quick enough, I'm level 19 or 20 in the offline co-op game and have completed every side mission and main mission and we've finished the Arid Badlands, but we are never in the same level as the enemies, they constantly have the yellow triangles next to their names, and if it weren't for a few helpful weapons, the berserker action we'd probably be stuck. Is this more a fault of playing through on co-op? Would I level up a lot quicker on my own? Or is that all worked out so that you aren't hindered in that sense by a friend?
