One episode left and unless something unbelievable happens in the finale I cant see it redeeming itself from being the worst season of True Blood.

Still entertaining though but claptrap.

Entertaining claptrap.

totally agree with the above - this season has been really disapointing. read recently in another mag this season is the best - and when it hits its stride. ..... simply put NOT!! its just been so slow.

What a piss poor season that was! Apart from the last 10 mins, that was one dire, dull affair of uninteresting plot strands and weak characters all season long.

There were some episodes I enjoyed, but, on the whole, I'm not even sure if I'm that bothered about the next season. I understand it will be Alan Balls last season as show runner, and I can see exactly why he's vacating this sinking ship.

Any show that makes me actually leap up and say 'YEAH' when a major character is killed off is definitely not working.

I must be easily pleased. Loved this season. I can't even remember off the top of my head what S3 was about. I thought this years was fantastic. So many laugh out loud moments. The escape from the enchanted fairy kindom at the start was one of the most campest/brilliant scenes I've seen in a while. Loved the rest of the season too. Only plot points I wasn't keen on were Jasons and the ware panther stuff and Andy's. Can't wait for S5. As for that big shocker at the end I was gutted. I'm not worried though, somthing tells me they'll be back.

Oh good! Made up about that. Do you know if they are back full time? My favourite character.

Just wondering is this one of those cases of the show being better than the books? I was on the bench about checking the books out but if they're like Twilight and proper mush I wouldn't be interested. If they're as nutty and campy as the show though I'd defo check 'em out.

Who are you talking about here?

If its who I am thinking off I am not happy they are coming back as its my least favourite character.

Really???????

Oh FFS. That was the only thing making me consider giving the next season a chance, knowing she's dead.

Same here. Great character in the first season, pain in the backside since.

Pretty disappointing overall with all the decent stuff happening in the last 20mins of the final episode.

Terrible, terrible season, I am through with this show now, and will just remember it for when it was at its peak in the first two seasons.

I really enjoyed the first season but 4 episode into season 6 it's just daft, dissapeared up it's own arse now.

Is there not a US speed thread? I really mind because you have avoided spoilers but even though I know it hasn't started over here yet I can't help get excited when I see this thread on top of the small screen pile

Anyone else bother sticking with this for the final season ? Sounded so good with the hep v vampires attacking the town , but they finished that storyline early and most episodes now are just boring !!

I've finished it. Thank God it's over. Absolutely awful, pointless final season.

Watch The Strain if you need a vampire fix. Entertaining stuff.

Yep, finished it a few weeks ago and it is just terrible. What was once an entertaining, witty program sadly turned into utter rubbish.

The final season was terrible, unfortunately it was always in decline from day one.
