Love the magazine but how about an interview every month with a criminally underrated actor discussing his or hers career highs and lows, possibly mentioning films that were passionate projects and the fils they felt they had to do just to pay the bills and keep themselves visible. Always Empire did the best in depth interviews so would love to see a monthly page or two dedicated to the likes of Joseph Gordon Levitt, Crispin Glover, Sam rockwell and Paddy considine, guys who do great work but don't seem to get the recognition the deserve. Oh and empire kisses Shia Lebouef's ass, minor complaint but true.

I'd say Paul Rudd might be pretty underrated

Jason Isaacs, Sean Bean, Sam Rockwell, Daniel Autiel (well, in this country anyhow).  I'd love to see those.

That's a point - more foreign, non-US, actors would be nice.

Certainly Crispin Glover, Nathan Fillion would get my vote too.

Jason Isaacs is a great actor, and Sean Bean deserves to be in every film ever made.

Also, Rupert Grint is fantastic. He has the unfortunate task of acting alongside Emma 'wooden' Watson and 'Daniel 'mummy's conveniently a casting director' Radcliffe but he has very underrated comic timing.

An actor I don't think gets mentioned enough is Alan Tudyk.

I'd definitely agree with that. Was watching Dollhouse last night and he's incredible in it.

Agreed. He's hilarious in HBP. Also, Driving Lessons showed his range and ability to cope with drama. Love him.

James Woods. He's overflowing with talent. Sadly, he's made very few good films. The Onion Field, Salvador, Citizen Cohn, and Nixon are his best.

I'll second that. And I agree with Rupert Grint and Alan Tudyk being insanely underrated.

(edit) Bringing it back to the original point... Yes, more interviews with lesser heralded actors please.

Surely Once Upon a Time in America is his best? I know he doesn't carry the movie as elsewhere, but he's extremely good, and it's a magnificent film.

Sam Neill. He's made some dodgy career choices in his time, but for a man who helped make Jurassic Park more than just a soulless CGI-fest and put New Zealand film on the map, he gets far, far less attention than he deserves. Plus, he's utterly fantastic in Sleeping Dogs.

Definitely agree with Paul Rudd. The guy is incredibly funny and immensely talented. I liked him from the first moments I saw him in Friends.

Another guy I'd like to see more is Paul Giamatti. The guy's a great actor, and I can't stand to see him in films like Big Momma or Big Fat Liar. He seems to be always a second to somebody.

I don't know if you've seen it or not, but if you like Paul Giamatti, try American Splendor. I haven't seen it for ages but from what I can remember of it, it was an alright film!

American splendor is a great film and he's fantastic in it, his performance in Man on the Moon is worth checking out too.

Some of the most underrated actors i know is Jason Isaacs. He's a freakin ledgend.
On the other hand, one of the most OVERrated actors has to be the "wise-cracking" man-child that is Chris Tucker. ANYONE over the age of 10 who've seen Rush Hour must know that this man is an abomination of an actor. My trump card for anyone who isnt convinved that he's a shambles of an actor is, simple....... The 5th Element. Check and mate

Chiwetel Ejiofor has played an eclectic array of characters, (his turns in Serenity, Kinky Boots and Red Belt are my personal favourites so far) and is never anything less than fantastic.  Definitely deserves to be Hollywood-huge soon.
