One Girl, One Dog. She loses it and spends the film trying to find it. These are the kind of films that there should be more of a fine antidote to loud noisy in your face bullshit

Michelle Williams once again proves she's one of the best of her generation. Yet she and this film aren't getting the attention that is deserved

The film just shows how lucky we are and don't have to cling to tiny bits of money the way Wendy does. Oh and the end is just gut-punching, absolutely gut-punching

I honestly would give this film 4stars but I'm giving it 5 cos I believe it deserves more recognition and I'm astonished by how little money its made 800,000 us low even by indie standards its such a well made film proving that you don't need a whole bunch of characters and a wordy script to create an emotional and moving film.

Three stars is too low for this film. Just an absolutely true, heart breaking story. Michelle is a massive talent that should have gotten heaps more recognition.

The above comments cheer me up. There are people who truly enjoy what the Empire reviewer calls slow, ponderous meticulously rendered realism. I can't figure out if the reviewer genuinely liked the experience or wanted to criticize it. Wendy & Lucy is an absolutely beautiful experience. People looking for a movie to rent should definitely check it out!
