 That was the first race I managed to catch so far this year and thoroughly enjoyed it, it was absolutely fantastic! Great entertainment from start to finish

 What a fantastically exciting race. Many moments of madness (Button - wtf?!, Perez - mental) and amazing drives by Hamilton and Webber. This is what F1 is all about.

 Monaco this weekend. I think perhaps that the Ferrari's will do well in this grand prix, but can/will anyone beat Vettel?

 While it may have robbed us of an exciting finish and a win for Button I'm happy to see some crashes and safety cars back in F1, That's the one thing that has been missing this season.

Of course I hope all the drivers are alright and don't have any serious injuries.

 Must say, I was a tad angry that the cars were allowed to change the tyres after the red flag - completely cocked up an exciting end to the race.

That Prince Albert's done well for himself.

Yeah, I was really surprised they were allowed to change the tyres, much less repair a wing (I bet the engineers were a bit annoyed that Lewis was involved in an accident about two corners after the restart after all their effort!).

Hamilton came across as a bit of a c**k. The overtake was never there and he was simply too agressive as he was no doubt driving angry at that point in the race.
Accusing Massa of deliberately driving into him is rubbish - even if it were true are you telling us, Lewis, that if the roles were reversed that you would have let Philipe through even though you were no more than half a car length alongside him?
What Massa does is try to go down the inside of Webber (who had run wide) at exactly the same time as Hamilton lunges down the inside of him. Hamilton drives Massa's front wing into the side of Webber's left rear tyre, damaging it quite badly. This is probably what causes Massa, two corners later, to get a bad drive into the tunnel, letting Hamilton up the inside and forcing Massa on to the marbles and then into the wall.

Which (correct me if I'm wrong) was the incident that brought out the safety car, which then arguably cost Button the race, which negatively affects both McLaren in the championship AND increases the lead that Vettel has for the drivers' title?

I don't think he should get a penalty for the black comment as it clearly a joke, albeit a very stupid one, but I think more telling is his attitude that he's the victim when I think really (if you take into account his tone and radio comments just after the Massa incident, which were classic attempts to deflect the blame) he knows he's in the wrong here.

That was immense, especially that when that marshall fell over and wasn't run into; possibly the most shocking motorsport related nearly-accident since, well, yesterday at Le Mans actually.

 What a beautiful Lap 15. Both McClarens overtaking both Ferraris.

Hamilton up from 10th to 3rd in 15 laps and now only 7 seconds behind Vettel.

No team orders eh? Tell that to Webber who looked sick as a parrot through that press conference at the end. Both he and Vettel knew that he could have taken him, but just wasn't allowed to. Christian Horner - you are a punk.

 As an occasional F1 follower I tuned in yesterday as it was the British GP.

Was alright, but I see that team orders still put a professional result above entertainment. This might make sense to F1 enthusiasts, but doesn't do much for the occasional viewer. I won't be in a hurry to tune in again.

 In all honesty, I don't think Webber was particuarly listening to the radio, and I think given another lap he would have taken Seb, much to his teams chargin.

It was, from my seat, an absolutely fascinating Grand Prix. A few absolutely great moves by both Jenson and Lewis, - they both seem so much more comfortable on race day than they do over one lap in Quali, where the Red Bulls have it nailed. The tyres are amazing really, at no point can you seem to rule anyone out of a race win, wherever they are on the track.
Sebastian seems terrified of these tyres after Malasia and now seems to always be trying to do just enough, which means when events go out of his hands, like they did with the pit stop, he is open to be overtaken. While he's still the favourite clearly, I don't think its won just yet, and Alonso is going to pick up quite a few more wins from here.

Looked to me like Webber had practically overtaken Vettel, then eased off. Maybe there was no way through there, looked to me like he could have made it stick if the boss wasn't yelling into his ear to ease off.

 Vettel said afterwards that he had to defend hard, and Christian Horner has said since that he'll be having a word with Webber regarding the fact that he appeared to ignore the calls. It is interesting for the future of Red Bull, who last year made a big deal about the fact they weren't using Team Orders like Ferrari did (and do). Mark Webber's future is under enough doubt that it probably will be enough to push him out, it'll be interesting if the same situation reoccurs in Germany, if Webber is ahead of Vettel in the last laps.

 That was a great race - right up till the final lap. Excellent driving by Hamilton and Alonso. And especially loved that Alonso had to get a groggy from Webber at the end
