If Ben Foster's in it, I'll watch it. The crappy voice over kind of ruins the trailer though...BUT...Dennis Quaid's in it too...

There is nothing worth seeing in Pandorum; it seems a very bad take on other movies. The ship and scares are right out of Alien, the story (along with set and scares too) out of Event Horizon - minus the eye gouging and invention, and it seems to be paycheque-alley for every actor in this going by this awful trailer. Straight to DVD?BR I think.

Wow, generic space-horror from A-to-Z. Why doesn't anybody start a new space-adventure franchise inspired by the Peter F. Hamilton books? That stuff could genuinely be the new Star Wars.

i agree with jameswhaleofatime, only the monsters look less impressive. still looks entertaining though.

I third the Dead Space rip off (or possibly the Downfall anime film of the game)...looks alreet though, is Quaid the bad guy though or did I miss something?

Considering that this was being made well before Dead Space was released I would its more likely both the film and game took thier cues from the space horror genre already in place.

I think it looks interestng. Sure its likely to have some cliches but many gangster films, romantic comedies etc.. have cliches that we all enjoy. The space horror genre isn't all that big and is pretty much Alien > everything else.

Fingers crossed that this turns out decent.
