Its good isnt it?

I know (just know) I will love it but I totally expect some critics to say they are rehashing old ideas or being vulgar or something. Which makes me feel a bit sad cuz i know how close attention they pay to written reviews.

But personally speaking, I can say that they could throw anything together and I would watch it. I loved series 3 (when lots of people didnt) and I liked the movie for what it was (a good effort). Im thrilled to see them back and Im a happy fangirl right now.

 It got me even more excited, it looks fantastic!

There are some critics who have it in for them but they've usually been okay. Any reviewer who hates it and rates LB/Catherine Tate and it's ilk won't bother me - they're clearly insane. I'm interested about the episode in one take; and I wonder if we will be bored like Reece predicts.

Series 3 is a grower, definitely.  I rate it very highly though I didn't know what to think when I first saw it. I love the direction they took and I thought they were really brave in what they did. It's funny that they mentioned on the commentary that series 3 got some of the best reviews they ever had... though I think it split people down the middle.  There was a lot of pathos in that series and it had some fantastic new characters. It was probably their most mature work.  And who doesn't get a tear in their eye when Mickey waves to Ross at the end?  

I was a bit disappointed by the film but I loved the concept.  Sometimes I wonder if they had Bernice, Pauline and Chinnery go through instead of Hilary, Geoff and Herr Lipp the film would have been better. But I would say that since Bernice is one of my favourites. Though Geoff is superb 'They put me in a box with my coat on. I know it doesn't sound much' 

I'm just chuffed they're working together again, they've been gone for far too long.  I'm glad they haven't ruled out a full reunion; I would love to see them working with Mark and Jeremy again.

What was the interview like this morning? Was Reece as grumpy as we thought?

I watched Free Agents today btw. Was ok. Not terribly funny I have to say but it was nice to see Stephen Mangan  break from type and play a bit of a loser with no confidence. Sharon Horgan and he have great chemistry. Was slightly ruined by Antony Heads turn as a steretypical horny old goat.

 It was alright actually, I was surprised they showed some clips, didn't think they would be able to find anything suitable for that time of morning.  The bloke interviewing them seemed like a bit of a prude to me but he was really into it which surprised me. The young attractive bespectacled woman who resembles a cat didn't seem to like it very much though.   Reece actually talked quite a bit which was a shocker! He and Steve were both quite animated for that time of morning. I sure as hell wasn't. They talked about the online stuff for the show and gave a summary of what it was about and talked about Dawn French - basically stuff we already know so you didn't miss much.  Though Reece looked quite yummy and sweet with his tired eyes.

Cheers for that, I think I'll keep an eye out for it.

Watching a vid of Reece discussing the show at the BFI now. Very interesting. But I would expect nothing less.

I love his dig at the reviewers saying it looks exactly like The League of Gentlemen... Meow!!! Methinks he's still a tad pissed off at how the BBC treated them at the time (and how they haven't shown repeats in fecking ages, the gits). I'm trying to decide if he's being fake bitter or actually bitter.  

I do find it amusing that Reece has always seemed bemused by the fact people call it dark. Christ, I wonder what he classes as dark!!

Argh! I thought I had the first two taped but it didnt do it!

Thank god I didnt leave it to watch later.  

I loved it so much! I think it is actually the funniest thing theyve ever done. And it is dark, no matter what Reece says.  The mother/son scene was especially disturbing. Dawn French was actually very good. I was expecting her to be really over the top but Joy was a very good character.

Dont know why but Mr.Jelly reminded me of Stella.

 Mr Jelly reminded me of Stella too!! It's the voice I think.

Facking loved it, what a surprise! I watched the second episode too straight after and it's even better. I couldn't stop laughing at something Dawn's character did.

Mr Jelly was fantastic, I was watching it with my parents and they were laughing, but I was the only one in utter hysterics at the line 'come on, don't be ashamed' Scaring little kids is always funny in my opinion.   Ahh god the mother and son bits..... I think it was Steve's euphoric look that really made me shudder! The sausages for entrails was inspired.

Im watching the second ep again now. It definitely keeps the momentum going.

Im not completely fussed on the dwarf storyline for some reason. Even though Snow White got alot of the best lines in the show, it just didnt have the sparkle of the other plot lines.

 I know what you mean - as a storyline it's not grabbed me just yet, but there were some cracking lines in those scenes especially the SPOILER bit in the restaurant with the waiter and the 'midget gems'   Really loved the mother and son bits too.  It was absolutely insane but utterly brilliant! The thing is, it's up against Big Brother so I don't have high hopes for the ratings.  (Boooo hiss boooo) Where can you find out about the ratings? Do Digital Spy do them?

Im not sure about where to find out ratings. I bet digital spy would have the info later on thought. I do know Big Brother is barely making 1 million this year so Im hoping people have decided to go for something a bit different instead.
