 Saw a bit of this on satarday.The Blobby break in was funny but most of the show was nonsense.

There are some of us who would like to see Harry Hill's TV Burp, ITV's highest-rated comedy show, on every week, or even four times a week like Coronation Street. It's an essential dose of daft humour and a valuable corrective to an awful lot of TV tosh. And this festive edition is like taking an indigestion remedy after too much turkey and pud. As the show is written and recorded so close to transmission, we can't say at whom Harry will be poking fun. But it's a safe bet he'll meander through the soap storylines and pick the sillier bits from the finals of Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor.

For many, Harry Hill's Christmas TV Burp was a gleaming highlight of the festive telly. It included the sight of our horn-rimmed host reluctantly tucking into a jar of spiced peaches (Nigella insisted no Christmas was complete without them) and Shane MacGowan dueting on A Fairytale of New York with a small, furry whale (I forget quite why this happened, but it's a hard image to shift from the brain). We can expect similar follies on a weekly basis now the series is back. No-one mocks the week's TV with the same blend of cruelty and affection. We're told the show will start with a look at what's been on air since the last series, giving us the chance to enjoy Harry's spin on I'm A Celebrity . . , Strictly Come Dancing and Big Brother. Let the games begin.

 COMPLETE AND UTTER GENIUS!!

Last nights show was superb as i haven't laughed this hard for years. The free-running stint on the Bill and the Coronation Street character with the big eye were sublime.

Don't miss the repeat!!!!

It's the only decent show ITV have. Period. The bit with Madge doing the rhyming to remember the dance steps was hilarious.

I thought this week's episode was even better. I laughed practically non-stop. 

The bits with Paul Burrell and "American Princess" with the ridiculous contestant names (Letoshua Joshua, Liz Rizza, Kirsten Stiff). Let's play the  "How long will it takes before he mentions Princess Diana" game. Also, when Paul said "you either love me or hate me" and Harry dead-panned "Um, hate you".

The bit with the mad 'lookalike woman' near the end almost had me in tears.
Mad woman:"Lots of people say I look likeTina Turner"
Harry: "Only if Tina Turner was white"
Mad Woman: "Others tell me I look like Elizabeth Taylor"
Harry: " Only if Elizabeth Taylor looked like a white Tina Turner"
Mad Woman "And then lots of people think I look like Cher"
Harry: "No, you don't"

He really is fantastic.

Looked, but couldn't find. Just numerous repeats of bloody X-Factor. I did however find it repeated at around 11pm tonight on ITV 'London'. Result.

 25 weeks is a really long run - great stuff. I hope they can keep the quality up because I saw one or two that weren't brilliant last year. When it's on form it's as funny as anything on TV.

How about the clip from some drama/ soap where the woman was saying "most of all, most of all..." and then it cuts to Harry Hill and the chorus of "I like the way you move" blasts out
