The biker series starring all round icon Ron Perlman and Charlie Hunnam - who has changed beyond all recognition since Queer as Folk - comes to Bravo tonight at 10pm.

Notable mainly for the brilliant performance of mom, Katey Sagal.

Watched it. It was okay, a little cliched but Kathy Segal is fantastic as is "the 'perl"

Really enjoyed it and the cast is great. I have to say though, I only started watching as I heard it was somehow connected to The Shield...

I downloaded and watched the season when it aired last year, and in a moment of spoiler-free gushing, I loved it!
Seriously, if you are a little unsure after episode 1, stick with it, the season progresses nicely and the last few episodes of the season are brilliant!
Proper 'OMG' moments in there too....

Aha there is a thread. I thought this series as too good to be completely under the radar. "Peggy" is a complete revelation, she's completely bad to the bone. Its a lot better than I thought it might have been, but the wife doesn't seem to be enjoying it so much, so its good its only a short season

No one else watching this now? Think theres only three episodes to go and I'm already hoping for a second season.

SPOILERSSS!!!!

Couldnt beleive it when Jay Karnes character coped it...and then what happened after was even more outrageous

There is a second season on the way, airing September in the US

Sweeet! Hopefully it'll get shown over here about the same time...I hate when shows get delayed by months even though they're on in the US

Seems to be not getting the loving it deserves, but SoA was my favourite show this year and I can't wait for S2

It's brilliant! It deserves to be mentioned amongst the most aclaimed shows on TV. Ron (Hellboy) Pearlman is great as the leader, it's un-pc which I like, violent, with bad language and sex thrown in.  It's like an old school throwback to a time when men where men and women where erm...women.  I bet season 2 doesn't air for ages over here (probably next summer)

Does anyone know the name of Half Sacks old lady? Pearlman's charachter slept with her because Half Sack made a comment about his old lady giving him a chubby.  She's fine  I thought it might have been the girl from ABC's Invasion but no luck...

Edit: found out her charachter's name was Cherry

*EDIT* Just noticed this is a UK thread, but there isnt a US one, so lets combine our efforts!

Mod edit: Er, no, that's not how it works at all. Separate threads.

I gave up waiting for season 2 to be aired in the UK, I watched it all online, and I have to say it think its even better than season one.
Season two isn't going to air until July in the UK as far as I have read, and season three is September in the USA.

Thought the pilot was decent, will give it a chance to progress. Can't believe that's Charlie Hunnam. His Yank accent is better than his cockney in Green Street!

Think I've watched 4 now. The bit with the guy getting bitten by the dobermann was funny.

"You gave a killer Dobermann crystal meth? Are you retarded!?"

Yeah, she's certainly the hottie in it, seen as the other women in it are "Peg" from Married with Children and a heroin addicted Adriana from the Sopranos

Just watched the episode with the compulsive wanker and the Sam Crow Tattoo Removal Service. Hilarious and cringeworthy at the same time!
