A nice selection of the completely bollocks Wolverine stories....

I'd like to see the X-Movies go down similar roads to Grant Morrison's New X-Men, myself. How cool was THAT series? Cassandra nova, Mental Wild Sentinals and the whole Weapons Plus and Fantomex stuff with Magneto hiding in amongst their ranks while the mutant population sky-rockets and Jean gets more and more Pheonixy. Wolverine was never as bigger smart-arse as he was in that run with his constant acid one-liners and taunts piled onto Cyclops.

what a suprise the film got a shit review film makers have been whimsical at best with the wolverine back story, why oh why I just don't know, if you make a Shakespeare adaptation you look to the text as reference, or for that matter any good adaptation from source literature. jesus how can you fuck up wolverine when so many great, story arcs are available in the comics.

Hulk vs. Wolverine would be fun if Marvel got the X-Men film rights back though, hell, Damon Lindelof has been writing a (very delayed) series, it's ripe for filming.

Wasn't X-Men 2 enough of a 'Wolverine origin story'? As if we needed a whole film that would clearly just dumb down a generic version of his days as a lab rat while adding ridiculous plot devices for the sake of it - like adamantium bullets or whatever. Totally agree with what was said above - with so many great Wolverine tales out there, it just seems like such a shame.

As for the Ultimate Hulk vs Wolverine - it started excellently, and now after however many years delay it was ludicrously anticlimactic, replodding back over the story to catch up and then throwing She-Hulk into the mix for kicks. Seems to me like he's making it up as he goes along, which doesn't give me much hope for Lost. The artwork is amazing though.

umm... yes, the Skrull appeared in the Horseman of Apocalypse story, but they aren't very Alien-like, as in H.R.Giger's Alien. I think the race you're thinking of there is the Brood... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brood_(comics)
Skrull are more little-green-men-like.

There's a FANTASTIC film from Marvel Animation of Wolverine and Hulk going at it, pretty violent and definitely not for kids. Pretty sure they left off the whole 'ripped in half' thing, but its a good story none the less . Highly recommend it to all the fans here.

A decent one thats for sure... Until hes let loose and seen ripping bad guys apart in a maniac frenzy..... A bit like freddy or jason but instead of hacking up blondes with perky tits it'll be bad guys...

Logan got ripped in half and his bottom half chucked onto the top of a mountain? I'll bet that pissed him off.

why did they have Rambo as Cap' America? not that he'd be by any stretch a bad idea as the Cap (tho more Punisherey surely?).

well it's either Rambo or Patrick Swayze.

You sometimes think he's making to up as he goes along? as oposed to what other method of writing stories? That is sort of the only way there is to write fiction. if you dont make it up it pretty much either stays as a blank page or becomes non fiction.

also, apologies for the tripple post.
