A Lost movie is a terrible idea - as stated at the start, some things just work better in long form. Lost is full of past references to episodes from all past seasons, and personally I just don't think it would play well on the big screen. Luckily the writers agree - they said it'd take the piss to charge people money at the end of the series for them to find out what's going on.

Oh, and by the way - No WAY should Spaced be turned into anything. Leave it as what it is: sheer perfection.

A Carnivale movie would be great, because that's one of the greatest cliffhangers around, and then they got cancelled.

Come now, where's the Creek? By Danny Boyle? You know it makes sense. In terms of eye-celery (it certainly isn't candy, more savoury) I say bring back Quentin or another frumpy TV stalwart like either female in Gavin and Stacey. Don't worry about switching the JC role for uninitiated American audiences; in time they'll discover that Alan Davies has the raw sexual magnetism of a young Trevor McDonald.

The fact we only got three series of that superb show is ABSOLUTELY CRIMINAL.

I'd love to see Life and Times of Tim made into a real feature length film, Michael Cera would be the obvious choice of Tim but maybe someone a litlle older would suit the role a bit better like Zach Braff.

A sci-fi western without the western (if that makes any sense!) - surely easy pickings for a big screen revival? (Although the Terry Nation estate are a bunch of buggers when it comes to rights - allegedly - don't want them coming for me too...)

Cos Heroes needs a massive kick up the ass and a movie might just make it interesting again. Of course, some or all of the following should die: Peter, Claire, HRG, Sylar, Nathan. That is all.

It was called FIREFLY/SERENITY. and it was far superior. FRIENDS should get a movie. Aside from that I can't really think of ANY tv show that could be brought to the big screen that has not already been done better. For instance Band of Brothers/Saving Private Ryan, The Sopranos/The Godfather. Alias/Mission Impossible......And even when good tv shows are made into movies, that is no guarantee of quality (anybody see Miami Vice?, and what about that last X-Files movie Sheesh!!!!)

That'd be pretty epic on the big screen, 42 minutes is not long enough for some of these episodes.

It has to be My So Called Life as it ended on a cliffhanger. I watched the whole series recently and I was hooked. By the way I'm an 18 year old guy.

Why does the potential arrested development film need Michael Cera when we can currently see him playing the same character in -oooh- every other film he's ever been in?! Including the forthcoming Scott Pilgrim film I am willing to wager. As likeable as the guy is the A.D film does not necessarily need him (though I also heard he's now on board anyways), compared to the other characters in the Bluth clan who are far funnier in my opinion. I'd watch a film that was based on Gob alone!

Would also concur with the wise person who put forward Freaks and Geeks as a movie - loved that programme!

My vote goes to Supernatural - either finishing off the angels vs demons arc in epic apocolyptic style (aka big budget for ace fxs) or a stand alone monster-of-the-week story...but not in the lame ass was X-files2 attempted to be.

I watched My So-Called Life based on this article and I have to say it is a brilliantly written and acted show. You cant help but identify with some of the characters. I would most definatly see it if it was made into a film but would probably have fairly low expectations since the original cast obviously cant be involved. Plus the torture of the cliffhanger that can never be answered would be a great reason for a movie!

ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! How is Entourage not on this list? If you've ever seen Entourage, you know that I don't even need to make an arguement about why it should be on the list.
