ORIGINAL: vad3r Is anyone else actually looking forward to this coming out in two days? Absolutely. A lot of Assassin's Creed fans I know kind of wrote off the series after the last two, but I stayed with it and actually liked them both quite a lot and everything I've seen for 3 is making me very very excited. Same here, I fucking adore this series. Revelations was a little clunky but still great fun. I had my doubts about the politics of AC3 and the way the marketing pandered so crudely to base American patriotism, but in interviews with the creative team they've been quite keen to emphasise that this isn't the Assassins vs the Brits, that it's more complex than that. Most of the trailers just haven't reflected that, which I guess is sadly to be expected. However, as excited as I am I don't want to buy it yet, simply because of all the infuriatingly different versions featuring different DLC, including the PS3 getting exclusive extra missions, which just plain sucks. So I think I'll hold out for any special edition releases next year, or at least I'll try. I will miss Ezio. He was awesome.
