I remember reading about a wreath going around your badge for the 125th anniversary not so long ago. As much as I like the simple shirt design (minus the horrible wreath that takes up too much room) I can't help but feel it looks too much like this seasons.

Better than Utd's new top though... Completely plain red with a awful collar trim, we honestly should just wear plain red t-shirts, it's like Nike don't put effort in anymore.

If it wasn't for the badge I'd swear that that was a United kit! Oxo-cube's look says it all.

For £25 million a year it can be made by Aunt Bessy for all I care . Not too bothered by losing Adidas, the kits by them are pretty bog standard designs across the board. If you change the colour and badge it's pretty much another teams shirt.

I think I'd prefer for her to stick to Yorkshire Puddings and roasties!

Having looked back at all the Adidas kits I actually didn't like a single one. Real Madrids third red kit was a simple, nice design and was better than all ours. We strived to homage the kits of old and instead manage to create cheap, horrible designs. I think the new Warrior kit is lovely.

Thought I'd give my club their shout. Really like this new away kit, the sleeves aren't going to be solid black it's green, white and gold instead.

I like the Chelsea away kit but those pictures with the blue paint are fucking stupid.

A Man United fan has clearly designed our new kit....

Nike in lazy kit design shocker .

Our first few home kits by Nike were the Brazil kit with the colours changed. Decent kits really have been few and far between since we went from Umbro to Nike. I like this year's kit but if you took the club branding away I could easily imagine Tiger Woods wearing it (it's also exactly the same design as the England away kit).

This doesn't effect me per-say but didn't kits used to change every two seasons?
Also who here regularly buys football tops/kits?
I think the last football top I brought was Italia 2004-2005.

They did indeed. I'm not really sure when it became standard practise to change all the kits yearly but it's a fairly recent occurence.

I only buy tops that I like which means in the Nike era I've only bought 3 tops.

Around my way, most of the workshy, unwashed, spend all day in the boozer and betting shop seem to only have one shirt and that is their Utd / Liverpool / Celtic replica kit top. So making them change it once a year can only be a good thing. **end snobbish generalisation rant**

Money.I say its much the same as selling tickets at a higher price or other Club based accessories.
On one hand I can understand clubs needing to bring a certain level of financial weight but on the other it just shows how much money is ,pretty much, modern day club football.

Italy kits are always nice, that one is especially cool. I've not had a proper football shirt since I was 12, the last Leeds shirt I had was the one we used through 2000-2002 (I think) the Nike one, t'was simple and looked good unlike the Macron abominations we are stuck with now. I refuse to buy any Macron shirt because they are some of the cheapest looking kits around, they really are fucking awful.

Not as bad as last years but still....
