Arsenal's new baseball kit.  I actually think it's quite nice even if it does turn out to be a fake.

I actually quite like that too. Hope it turns out to be true.

It's a nice kit but the sponsor logo is ugly and kind of ruins the look a little bit. Still, there's nothing you can do about that. I hope the away one is the white one from the front page because that was hideous.

Well the sponsor on those Man Utd shirts is incorrect, we've got Airtel as a sponsor for the next 5 years, so that's another glimmer of hope that those kits are indeed fake. You'd have definitely thought they were, no kit maker or team could surely choose two kits that awful?

I haven't bought a home kit for a good few years now because I've thought they were, well not very nice. I've been buying the 2nd or 3rd kits and I particularly like our 2nd choice white kit this year. God knows what I'm going to buy next year if the rumours are true because that kit above and the white one on the first page of this thread are 2 of the vilest kits I've seen since Everton's pink one (that's the old "salmon" striped shirt not the admirable breast cancer release this season).

I agree completely, although even if they are real, chances are they'll have seen many comments about them since they were "leaked" and with any luck took the hint from pretty much everybody and accepted they were fugly and therefore gone back to the drawing board.

I'm also with you on the not purchasing a kit thing, the last one I owned was this one:

(Best picture I could find from google)

However, I still wasn't a very big fan of that top, the last one I actually liked was the one before that, which would have been this one...

I haven't liked one since that one, and if the ones in this thread are indeed the real shirts for the next season or two, I won't be buying those either. I get the idea our home kit has changed cycle to make more money, it seems like we're doing 2 years, then a 1 year memorial kit, then repeat. Because I've heard the explanation to the ones posted in this thread was that it was a throwback to an old kit we had, much like the dark red one we had the season before last. Hopefully that's true because it'll mean this kit passes by quicker, but it's a joke for the supporters who buy them.

Found This Link but it doesn't say anything about Airtel being shirt sponsors, only that United and Airtel have a agreed a 'partnership' that allows Asian customers to get Man U content on their mobiles.

I was looking at a website cataloging all our kits since we were Newton Heath and that white top with the laces is a throwback to the kit used between 1922-27. I don't doubt it looked awful back then as well.

Unfortunately by looking through the site I was reminded of our truly awful Green and Gold monstrosity from the 92-93 season . Throwback tops don't work but if they do insist on them I'd rather see them replicating the old Adidas tops of the 80's.

The Vodafone top with the black trim is the last home top I bought and like you the last home top I thought was worth buying.

Think I may stick with this for the forseeable future :-

It's our nicest kit in quite a while IMO.

I loved that shirt!  And the black one that followed a season or so later.  I'll never forgive the little fucker at school who said he could get numbers and names put on the back professionally.  The cheeky shit brought it back 2 months later with it covered in fuzzy felt that he'd clearly cut out himself, then pritt-sticked to the back of the shirt.  He even put Cantona's number as 9, not 7, so he couldn't even get that right.  Thankfully it all fell off in a matter of hours, but he ruined my shirt.

I'm still angry.

See that would be nice if they'd just made it that shade of green and not the whole tartan thing. If it was just plain green I'd probably get it but no way I'm buying that.

Holy shit. The top's okay, but those shorts are a disgrace, especially if the tartan is as bright as the main photo suggests!

I take it by international games they mean European ones?

European games basically, and even then we'll probably have at maximum 3 of them

Designing kits for Celtic must be the easiest job in the world.

...wait a minute, something that's claiming to be Scottish, but is actually Irish and prominently features an Australian: it's Braveheart all over again!

I think the strip will also be used in pre-season friendlies. Perhaps it'll debut at the Wembley arena games?
