Production is well under way and apparently we're looking at October to November time for when the series will air.

Rumours about a film sequel to In The Loop which will see a crossover with Veep to follow as well.

Don't you mean Roger Allam?

I'm liking Malcolm hiding and plotting in cupboards.

Sadly IMDB is not reliable - no-one's really been up-dated for the new series (which starts on the 8th!)

This Saturday people, this Saturday!

BBC2, 9.45pm.

They've played the trailer on BBC News 24 twice already this evening and I'm fairly certain I've wet myself with anticipation!

A slightly strange episode, it being sans Tucker and all, but I still enjoyed it thoroughly. There were some seriously chucklesome lines with the following 2 being my favourite.

Despite the absence of Tucker, I really liked tonight's episode.

Roger Allam is made of win.

Really enjoyed that, just got home from work and couldn't wait until tomorrow to watch the recording!

Did anybody else notice that the actor who plays Adam (I can't remember his name) also played the editor of the Daily Mail in the first series of the show, he's now played two characters in THOT?

"Here why don't you stay here and creep the barmaid out. You can use your vintage unplucked flower line."

That was my personal favourite!

I think Ben Willbond (Adam) is the same character and yes Roger Allam is made of win.

Ah! That's why I couldn't remember the name, because its the same character. Now Iaunacci has always denied that his characters are based on anyone within current or past governments, see the comparisons between Tucker and Alastair Campbell. Yet after Cameron and Coulson, the Mail editor becoming the new spin doctor for the junior minister of a coalition? There's got to be a sly dig in there somewhere!

First time watch for me, watched VEEP and really enjoyed that so thought I'd give TTOI a go.

How has this passed me by! So funny and some great lines of which the following has to be my fave.

Great start to the new season.  To open sans Tucker and his well-established crew was a pretty ballsy move by Ianucci, and it worked a treat.  Apparently, the show alternates weekly between Coalition and Opposition, with everyone together for the last 3 episodes, so lots of Peter vs Fergus to look forward to!

Yoga legs on the mellow Malcolm during the free thinking session had me in bits.

As did I'm getting a TWIX!

That was fucking hilarious, despite the lack of Malcolm. So many great lines and a great performance from Roger Allam. His policy launch was excruciating, but so, so funny. Can't wait for next week, it looks like it's going to get even better.

Loved seeing Malcolm and his creative swearing again. And that press conference at the end was hysterical - Nicola spotting the iceberg and proceeding to steer straight into it.
