Kudos for going down the muppet route. Means that it's not relying on looking pretty inorder to be good.

It reminds me of the big hairy guy from the Muppets and those giants from Fraggle Rock! Remember when the fraggles used to sneak into their garden and steal radishes? Those were the days...

My daughter loves this book. And I love reading it to her. Arcade Fire on the trailer works, just, works. I'm looking forward to this.

I just think this looks stunning. Beautifully done, faithfully rendered characters, I have nothing but goodwill for Jonze and this film. It looks fantastic. Now my most eagerly awaited film of the year!

Quite clearly i'm the only person on the planet who's never heard of this "most beloved book of all time", but despite this the trailer looks great and i cannot wait to see what all the fuss is about.

The puppets reminded me of Dark Crystal, never a bad thing.

And although the shots look good, and the locations absolutely stunning, the creatures put me off. They look 'real' in the sense of they are actually there with Max, but I can't believe in them, they are just men in large costumes. Its such a shame, I really wanted to like this. I was moved when you see one of them in tears, but still not sure it will work, they look too fake. Max however, looks like one of the best child actors I've ever seen.

Got a little choked watching this. This book was my favourite book as a child...bar none. I still have my copy from 1970. Dog-eared but still magic. Looks like Mr Jonze might have done it justice.
