Is that Thurber chucked most of the novel in the trash in favor of making a Sundance approved clunker than even clunked at Sundance. Please, stop sucking up to talentless directors making crap out of great books.

Have you not read Michael Chabon's book? This so-called adaptation by RMT is NOTHING like it! Except for the title and most of the character names, none of the events in this film resemble the ones laid out by Chabon. Why did RMT bother to spend time and $$ making this film? No fan of the novel wants to see Art Bechstein getting it on with Jane and esp. NOT with Cleveland! And MOP without Arthur Lecomte is just plain ridiculous...
