Too right - I picked up a 4200 code from Shopto the other day - tore through it like butter!

Picked up Bastion & Renegade Ops! Got to find the time to play em now tho!

And you have your wish, Anomers... kind of. Bloodrayne and ITSP are both down to 600MP. Can't say the full list has blown me away. Very light on DLC and heavy on the Avatar Items. Hmmm I may pick up those two but then theres no rush. I'll wait and see how the deals of the day are.

Where are these on the dashboard? I can't find a particular place for the deals. Or are they just discounted and people are meant to stumble upon them. I have to say I've been happy with all the other dashboards but I think this ones a bit rubbish. The only decent thing is the tabs for games, music, videos etc the layout of the tabs within just annoy me however.

The deal of the week is Rock of Ages for half price at 400 ms points. Checking the game out now.

EDIT: Never mind it's there now on the home tab. Wasn't this morning. Though funnily enough it's not there in the game market place.

Deal of the day is "Hole in the wall" ...

 There's no point in bothering with Fallout NV DLC and wasting points if you ask me! The 'GOTY Edition' will be out early in the new year, give it a month or 2 after release and it will be a steal. I'll then get it and finish it off, once and for all.

Got 1450 MS Points to use up too......was looking at the L4D DLC but can't decide. Hopefully it may be on sale sometime soon.

Indeed. If I buy all the DLC it even in the sale it will cost €20. I'll just wait for the UE to be under €20 and sell my original copy, saving a bit more money.

Bloodrayne - Demo was alright. But I can't see myself playing it to be honest.

Insane Twisted Planet - Quite liked it. May be picking it up soon.

Rock of Ages - Interesting ... bit like Katamari + Tower Defence + Board game ... random. But I think the computer would get too easy to play against. Which means I'd have to rely on vs which I'm sure is lacking on-line and the split screen would get too crowded. Still at 400 points may still pick it up.

LA Noire pass - I'll have to check reviews for this. I got tired of the game but do want to finish it off. Maybe the new cases are interesting.

I'm waiting for the end of the week to see what the deal is each day too ...

 Today you can save 50% on the Mortal Kombat: Season Pass. Normally 1200 points, today you can get it for 600.


Plus Deadliest Warrior: Legends is 400 Points (normally 800)

and

Deadliest Warrior: Legends, Joan of Arc game add-on is 120 points (normally 240)


Nothing for me there

Almost bought Deadliest Warrior ... but no point as I have so many fighters already. It seemed to be a laugh for local play but that doesn't happen all too often any more.

Mortal Kombat ... same kind of thing but I've barely played the main game.

Street Fighter Third Strike is deal of the day today. Assuming it is half price. I have no idea as I have it. For those of you thinking of getting it I can assure you it's a great port with lot's of nice extras. Well worth half price.

Nice one!

It's a cracking game. I've still never got into the parrying system. I can only ever parry fireballs and a other straight moves.

Gill can be a right bastard simply due to the resurrection. But once you crack that most of his moves are fairer than Seth from SF4 I think. Still over all I think he is tougher, probably add to the fact I'm not as good at Third strike by a country mile.

Gill's harder but I think Seth has some annoying areas he doesn't. For instance the priority of his moves can be ridiculous and I'm sure it's more than if an actually person was using him.

Todays deal of the day is Gears of War 3 DLC including the season pass at a reduced price.

 I downloaded the Mortal Kombat Arcade demo... was a bit shit if totally honest and the reviews online would suggest purchasing the full game is a total waste of time. Some serious glitches within the game.

Also, just read that a demo of The Darkness II hits Live this Tuesday (17th Jan)... seriously fucking stoked!!!

 I've got aroud 1400 MS Points and I was thinking I might as well get a few XBLA games as I haven't bought any in quite a while.

Could you recommend a few for me? Just about the only genre of game I'm not really bothered about is tower defence but apart from that I'm up for playing anything.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly! No kind of special offer will ever make me by that shite - in fact, I wouldn't even be tempted if it was free.

Choplifter HD is on the watch list though - enjoyed the demo but with so much other stuff to play, I am afraid that it will have to wait for a special offer.

It got a 12 on metacritic I think so yeah, stay away. Gatling Gears trial was good and for 400 points could be tempting.
