The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, it tanked but I think its a great film. And you get to see Uma Thurmans tits.

And it won three Oscars... Although for me the sight of Uma's dirty pillows would be a bigger selling point.

Uma Thurman is the only blonde actress/celebrity Snake-Eyes fancies. It's 'cos she looks disturbed and I find that attractive.

Hello John Carter!

Easily one of my favourites so far this year. truly epic with amazing FX and a fun story. Total space opera. Terrible marketing made it sink undeservedly.

And this:

Is one of the best scenes of the year for me

I just don't understand the hate for John Carter. Kermode? Worst film of the Year?!Honestly??!?

A very solid adenture epic. Probably one of the worst marketing campaigns of all time however.

Yeah, I enjoyed John Carter, and liked that dog alien more then I should have and found that battle with the Varhooms more moving than it should probably be.

Yeah the dog creature was cute. The film wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. It was just kind of forgettable.

Uma Thurman's tits in Baron Munchausen?! Wasn't that flick a PG?! I really don't remember there being tits in it!

Has Green Lantern got any love in here? Real guilty pleasure of mine that, and I'd defiantely be up for a straight up sequel with Reynolds and Mark Strong.

Interestingly, these all have a common connection... Robert Downey Junior then went on to be masive again with Iron Man and Shane Black is directing its threequel. Scarlett Johanesson is now huge and of course plays Black Widow in Iron Man 2 and The Avengers. Joss Whedon went on to write and direct The Avengers. And Chris Evans now plays Captain America!

You see them, breifly. You are allowed breasts in a PG if it is not in a sexual manner and it is very brief. For a better look at Uma's breasts watch Dangerous Liaisons or at the very least the video of that scene online. Just ignore the fact that John Malkovich is in the scene too.

I liked it. I liked John Carter too. Didn't think it was amazing but I don't think it deserved all the hatred it got.

I liked both John Carter and Green Lantern.

I think Green Lantern got a particularly hard time from the critics.

I enjoyed Green Lantern.Very underrated.I knew next to nothing about the character before seeing the film and it inspired me to read some of the comics. It also laid a solid foundation for a much better sequel with Sinestro as the main villain.

Disappointed we will more than likely not be getting a sequel and they will probably reboot it in 10 years time.

Failing to finish a film is a rare occurrence for me. So, in that sense, this is a pretty special movie.

Well, here's what happened - Those CGI vampire bitches flew around for AGES and Hugh Jackman fired about 3000 CGI arrows before he killed them in CGI melting scenes, then Frankenstein's monster swang screaming back and forth across a CGI chasm for AGES for reasons i can't remember.
Actually can't remember anything else apart from endless bad CGI action and some more CGI.

It takes a special kind of talent to fuck up Van Helsing VS. Universal Monsters. oh hai stephen sommers.

Really, really awful film with really, really awful CGI. And I'm still annoyed at Gimli for making me watch it for a second time.

I still have nightmares about having actually paid to see Van Helsing back in 2004.

God what a shite film!

Van helsing does have it's moments and Kate Beckinsale does look stunning in it. But there is just two much CGI in it and  I got bored.

I agree!

I've a soft spot for it! My mate took me to see it twice, of course he paid for the tickets so I wasn't too bothered. It's quite nicely paced, and Kate Beckinsale! My god she looks good in that sexy get up! I love the bloke playing Dracula (his name escapes me right now), I thought it was an over the top performance, but suited the film well. He's like the Tony Montana of Vampires!

There's a moment in the film, the 'ball scene' which I thought was very gothic and captivating, the music too. The production design was excellent. The make up too especially for Frankenstein's monster. But the CGI let it down a bit. Especially Hyde in the begining who looks like a CGI cartoon!

But I found it a fun ride. Action-packed, sexy, slimy - what more do you want?

Glad to see more VH love! I actually think the Mr Hyde scene is my favourite scene in the movie. I really love the look of him. Although he does seem to weigh nothing which is a little jarring.

This movie has amazing production design and great cinematography. The visuals are wonderful throughout and whilst there is a lot of cartoony CG, there is also a lot of really good CG.
