After watching Watchmen, Night Owl II looked very familiar... so of course, I IMDB'd him and found out that he has been in many films that I love. Here is a list of what he has done;

  1. Barry Munday (2009) (post-production) .... Barry Munday
  2. Watchmen: The End Is Nigh (2009) (VG) (voice) .... Nite Owl II
  3. Watchmen (2009) .... Dan Dreiberg / Nite Owl II
... aka Gardiens, Les (Canada: French title)
... aka Watchmen: The IMAX Experience (USA: IMAX version)
  4. Passengers (2008) .... Eric
  5. Lakeview Terrace (2008) .... Chris Mattson
  6. Life in Flight (2008) .... Will
  7. Evening (2007) .... Harris Arden
... aka Spuren eines Lebens (Germany)
  8. Purple Violets (2007) .... Brian Callahan
  9. Brothers Three: An American Gothic (2007) .... Peter
  10. Running with Scissors (2006) .... Michael Shephard
  11. Little Children (2006) .... Brad Adamson
  12. Hard Candy (2005) .... Jeff Kohlver
  13. The Phantom of the Opera (2004) .... Raoul
... aka Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera (USA: promotional title)
  14. The Alamo (2004) .... William Travis
... aka The Alamo (Philippines: English title)
  15. "Angels in America" .... Joe Pitt (6 episodes, 2003)
       - Millennium Approaches: Chapter Three - The Messenger (2003) TV episode .... Joe Pitt
       - Perestroika: Chapter Five - Beyond Nelly (2003) TV episode .... Joe Pitt
       - Millennium Approaches: Chapter One - Bad News (2003) TV episode .... Joe Pitt
       - Millennium Approaches: Chapter Two - In Vitro (2003) TV episode .... Joe Pitt
       - Perestroika: Chapter Four - Stop Moving! (2003) TV episode .... Joe Pitt
         (1 more)
  16. My Sister's Wedding (2001) .... Quinn

Will he be a rising star? What do you think of his performances? I lurve him and will be watching a few more of his stuff.

If you read this, you are stupid.

I think he's great, especially Hard Candy, Little Children and Watchmen. With any luck Watchmen will make him a bigger star.
The only problem so far are that his performances are usually overshadowed by other people in his films, even though he is usually just as good, if not better, e.g. Ellen Page in Juno, Samuel L. Jackson in Lakeview Terrace, Kate Winslet and Jackie Earle Hayley in Little Children and Haley again in Watchmen.
I still think he'll be a big enough star though.

Watchmen was the first thing I've seen him in, but I thought he was easily the best thing in it, certainly the most fully-rounded performance

I've only seen him in Hard Candy, but he gave a phenomenal performance in that.
