 Ok its time i shared my liking of WalterHill a director i feel who sometimes gets missed in critic circles i mean just look at some of his films

The Driver
The Long Riders
Southern Comfort
The Warriors
Wild Bill
48 Hours
Streets of Fire
Red Heat
Tresspass
Geronimo 
Last Man Standing

Ok there have been some total dogs Another 48 hours and Brewsters Millions but i think Hill is due for a revealuation
Who else likes Hills films?

Genius is stretching it, but I do like Last Man Standing more than people should.

 Love Southern Comfort and The Warriors. Wouldn't call him a genius but I think he deserves abit of recognition

 Not a genius that is stretching it,but a great all rounder director/writer of the ones you've mentioned plus he was writer on The Getaway (1972)The Drowning Pool,Aliens,Alien 3 and many others.Producer of ALIEN,Aliens etc,and has time to do a great directors cut of WARRIORS,which is just so good,it takes pride of place in my collection.

Hill is great but he didn't write Aliens or contribute much.

Hill is great but he didn't write Aliens or contribute much.

He is credited on the film and on many web sites as writing the story with Cameron and Giler,as well as being Executive Producer.
