I agree, try finding some new ones instead of recycling the old ones, even a little reshuffle might do

I think Chaplin's ovation should have been number one

Love the list. Apart from the Stomp Comment. That was classic. The moment I actually started paying attention to the oscars. There anywhere we can see video of all these?

No. 8: "-- and beat Peter Fonda down with a Nickelodeon award."

....has been far more interesting, creative, and down right better than the 4 ladies she was nominated against. She deserved the win for Vinny and people need to get over it already.

Didn't this receive seven NOMINATIONS and just four Oscars?

'The Comedian Song'. They were going to beat Peter O'Toole with a Nickelodeon Award!

do like that, you don't care about your sponsors who you say is undeserving of the Oscar it was awarded. It wasn't deserving wholly undeserving. But I laughed when I saw it was sponsored by Crash on Blu Ray. If I was the type of person to LOL I would.

This special I absolutely love, but the mention of 'The Comedian Song' contains an error. At the 2007 Academy Awards, it wasn't Peter Fonda who 'was to be beaten down with a Nickelodeon Award', but Peter O'Toole.

This is awesome that you put him winning at number one! Actually, I would have rather seen him win 10 other deserving trophies; but still glad you recognize his brilliance and the Academy's inaneness.

It was in 2004 not 1990 when Billy Crystal hosted Oscars and sang a song about nominees.

Billy Crystal hosted 1990, 91, 92, 93, 97, 98, 2000, and 2004 - so they are correct and you are not.

Treyt Parker and Matt Stone not being filmed because they knew when Phil Collins won they'd do something if a camera was on them.
Sally Kirkland's face when Cher won the Oscar.
