This is a film that could tell the exact same story with the exact same effect in 25 minutes. Even I could cut it and make it work. That's because it has 1 (one!) interesting subject (What if 2 lives go opposite and meet in the middle?) It drags, has no characterdevelopment, no insight, no drive. Pitt is awful, his performance hampered by the terrible writing. Blanchett a superb actress but I never believe her. Her's is the case of "watch me act!" but she's always acting. The effects are nice but never groundbreaking. the fairytale setting is nice but also never convincing.
To be stuck with those characters for almost 3 hours is offputting to say the least. The first bad film by Fincher. So now we only have The Coens with a clean slate.

Isn't that a contrdiction in terms? I liked this film.

Yeah...maybe it is . But what i meant is that she is technically very good, but I never forget she's blanchett. I expect her to look in the camera and say: well? What did you think of that?

 An amazing movie!! Personally, I think that it was a lot better than Slumdog Millionaire. It's true that it's quite long but who cares if the pictures you get to see are so wonderful??

Dull, dull, dragged out dullness. The "love" between the main characters was so depressingly wooden. The only interesting bits where when they were apart. And that was not often enough. "Nothing ever stays the same" or whatever that lines was being spoken every 10 minutes. How annoying.

 thought this was an enjoyable movie, beautifully shot but a bit long. still worth a watch.

Fascinating Fitzgerald premise. Promising opening. Poignant and moving denouement. But over long middle section meanders aimlessly through a series of uninspiring events and uninteresting characters. The cinematography is beautiful, but the grand shots only serve to emphasise what is ultimately missing from the screenplay.

Totally worth the hype.

Brad should have got an award. Oh well, he knows he gave a good performance.

This was a beautiful story that made me cry like the baby brad turns into!

Benjamin lives a wonderful life without it being to convenient (unlike above title) and it's tiemless as well as original

People in my family found the 'dying of old age as a baby too complicated'
I found this film to be a wonderful rarity.

100/100

 disappointing skipped the whole film (which took ages) to see if it was going to be an adult sized baby, it wasn't it upset me that it was a normal sized baby...
