I know the mass majority of visitors to this site won't have a bloody clue who i'm on about, but whilst recently watchin Iron Man, I could swear that one of the edited terrorist at the start running around in the cave is none other than Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello. Has anyone else spotted him?

Who else have you seen in movies with uncredited appearances, not neccesarily movie stars.

Cate Blanchett and Peter Jackson in Hot Fuzz immediately spring to mind, and Arnie in The Rundown

Jackson is the Santa that stabs Pegg in the hand

Dunno about Blanchett though.

Blanchett was Peggs ex girlfriend at the crime scene and Jackson was the Santa near the beginning of the film.

Last year was a good year for director cameos.  Chris Carter appeared in his XFiles film, Rob Cohen was 'dancing' in the Mummy: Death to the Franchise and I think, but I could be wrong, that Ben Stiller appeared somewhere in Tropic Thunder

way back in the mists of time (ok, a couple of years ago) a mate of mine tried to convince me that Tom Cruise had done a cameo in Die Hard With A Vengeance. he maintained that after the bnomb goes off in Wall Street Station, there's a scene where a bunch of workmen are shown walking out and away from the site. he maintained that one of those workers was Cruise. we checked the dvd, and it's not.

true story

oh yeah, and Cruise was in Young Guns, but i can't remember if he was uncredited. It's on his IMDb page though.

Good cameo, but it was credited.

I am trying to think of one.  When I first read the thread I thought "this should be easy" but then realised that I didn't know as many as I thought.  I was under the impresion that Edaward Norton was uncredited in Kingdom of Heaven, but he is there.

I do remeber seeing Christian Slater in the Star Trek movie and thought it was very strange.

Wasn't Eddy in Traffic uncredited though?

Have you never noticed the name of the person responsible for casting that movie?

Not sure whether it was credited or not, but Hulk Hogan's cameo in Gremlins 2, during the cinema scene is fantastic! Probably, my favourite cameo of all time! Anybody who has seen it will surly agree.

afraid not, bad enough sitting through a Star Trek film without staying through the credits .  Was it his mum?  I'd like to think that if my Mother was responsable for casting films she would throw me a walk on part now and again.  Saying that i am sure you are away to tell me it wasn't his mum and the last few sentances were a waste of my companies valuable time.

HA HA it was his Mother!.......superb.  My boss told me that the last post and any further post will still be classed as a waste of time.

Incidentally, where/who was Matt Damon in Che: Part One? Must have passed me by...

Emma Thompson in I am Legend.  A pretty pointless cameo if you ask me.

Must be a loooooooooooooong time since I've seen this movie, cos I don't remember that at all.

I'm sure everyone knows about Richard Branson being in Casino Royale.

I don't see how either of those could be classed as "cameos". Ed Norton is a strong supporting character in KoH and Oldman is the third lead in Hannibal.

There is a bunch of them in "Anchorman", perhaps the best scene in the film is the news reader battle royale with Luke Wilson, Tim Robbins, Vince Vaughan and Ben Stiller showing up. Still an average-good film though...
