Damn, I really like the idea of Boyle doing Dredd. Then again, if he isn't a fan it could only ever be a bad thing.

first i'm sickened by the news of a possible Speilberg/Will Smith Oldboy remake and now a Danny Boyle Sympathy for Lady Vengence....... i really admire Mr Boyle and think he is a truly talented film maker........ buy please please please PLEASE leave the Sympathy trilogy alone!! there is no joy to be had by the western world butching these gems!

The originals are sacred and will always be revered. But people will see those when the remakes come out... yes , even if they are mediocre. Some remakes even do a good job... go figure!

Oh please God. Let Danny direct/produce Judge Dredd! We really need a correct awesome movie of this behemoth. I mean, Dredd is so packed full of action and deep stories. Ok ok, his dialogue is often reduced to "Drokk" & "Stomm" but that never stopped him being involved in cracking stories.

Love the idea of another Dredd movie, I enjoyed the first, (odd that it's slagged off but it always gets 4 stars from the reviewers when it's on TV.) Keep Danny Boyle away. Sunshine is one of the worst films I've seen and I certainly don't think he's all that. just because someone "speaks their mind," (yawn!) It doesn't make them cool.

So. I don't suppose it'd be cool to call you a Twonk, then? Ha ha. You really like the Jugge Dredd movie? Like, as in 'seriously' not with a wry smile? But then, we all have our own odd little likes. I really love the '88 remake of D.O.A starring Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan but all my mates think it's shite... Ha.

I really wish he could get Porno rolling. One of my all time favourite books and I think as good as Trainspotting. It could make an excellent flick.

With comments like that from Danny Boyle who 'apparently' wasn't aware that his production company DNA had bought the rights to Judge Dredd (does this guy talk to his staff or do a bunch of monkeys run his company for him, probably both). Why buy the rights if you have no interest in the character, strange man indeed.

Another question put to Danny: 'Hi Danny, would you ever like to make a super hero comic book type movie in the future?
No. Not a great fan of superhero movies. We need those extremes of storytelling, but are reluctant to use them in anything other than fantasy movies. I think that's a bit sad.'

Nuff said, I can't see a movie being made in the near future by DNA, can you?
