I mainly got HMV gift tokens and money because I'm a tricky fucker to buy for. I usually buy what I want instead of asking people to buy me specific things for Christmas. I'm at that point where I'm not at all fussy about what I get for Christmas. For me it is all about the giving rather than the receiving.

Also - my sister got me Super 8 and Rise of the Apes on Blu Ray. I missed both films at the cinema, but I found them to be highly enjoyable.

Unfortunately, Kristen Wiig didn't come around to the house to boff me senseless this Christmas. But I'm holding out hope for next year's...

Santa brought me;

A "25th Anniversary - Limited Edition" Zelda 3DS, complete with Ocarina of Time! Lots of chocolates, selection boxes etc, a cool, nerdy 80's looking Timex watch, pyjamas and cosy socks, gloves and a warm headband, elfin style earrings (apparently I have elfin ears/ features, so Spaldy particularly liked this one), bath sets, alcohol and probably a shit load more which I can't remember.

Overall - Christmas rocked!

Now I just need an empty house to watch it! I've put off buying it for years, every time I was tempted to take the plunge I'd find out about a new upcoming release with new found footage, but now seemed like a good time to ask for it

My cousin, who I usually just see on Christmas Day, was incredibly generous and got me the complete seasons 1-7 of The Shield in a boxset.
My brother and his ladyfriend got me Keith Richards' autobiog, Life, and Tom Waits On Tom Waits, a compendium of Tom Waits interviews.
Me mam got me the extended Girl With The Dragon Tattoo films in a shiny boxset, Lonely Planet's South America On A Shoestring guide, moolah, sweeties and, best of all... a onesie. Very snugly and doesn't make me look like a giant baby at all.
