My youngest bro and I were talking just the other day about how cool the JAWS ride was - we visited UNIVERSAL Orlando back in 2000.

I loved the Jaws ride, me and the mrs rode it a few times back in 2000 too. I was hoping to hopefully get on it again someday.

ITV just showed the less ridiculous cut of Jaws the Revenge. And by that I mean it was the one where the shark doesn't explode or Van Peebles doesn't re-appear with barely an ailment in what looks like a glorified fish tank. I thought that version was lost or something due to having only seen the other one over the last several years.

Aw shit! I didn't realise it was that version they were showing. I had it on VHS when the BBC first showed it back in about 1989/90.

They should release this version on DVD, as it's clearly superior to the better-known cut.

Watched Jaws the other night for probably the 50-somethinged time. Yup- it's still my favourite film.

As for the ride: I went on it in 2003, and I am EXTREME-TO-THE-MAX, and was only moderately terrified. I then proceeded to pass out on the E.T ride...that was due to the smell though. (no joke)

I watched Jaws 2 last night. First time for several months I guess, but for some reason, I enjoyed it more than I ever have done. Baffled!

He's right, Fellini did rob him. Amarcord is a piece of shit. Nobody with taste and reason would say it's a better directed movie than Jaws.
