I recall the inadequate sequel that was IRON MAN 2 swiped this idea when we see other countries trying to replicate Tony Stark's ideas.

Having watched this again in the wee hours it reminded me how good a director Paul Verehoven is. Yes he's made a few stinkers but his best film is as still fresh and raw after all these years.
