It's about £55 but looks pretty cool

Hmmm, I've never been too bothered about those 'Collectors Editions'. You generally seem to pay twice the price of the standard game and get a few postcards, a 'making-of' DVD, and some plastic tat you don't really need, all packaged in an tin that takes up three times the space of a normal game case.....

 Definitely sounds good BUT I have heard some controversy over the reviewing of this game in such video gaming magazines like Gamesmaster who are being pushed by Eidos to give it the front cover as well as a score of over 90%.  That said, it does look fairly good so here's hoping we have a gaming equivalent of the Dark Knight.

This seems like a must buy. Even if they weren't being fully reliable with the 96%, anyone giving a review anywhere near that good must have a good game on their hands.

Although I don't agree with XBW on all their reviews one thing they are very proud of is being 100% independent and not reviewing any game unless they have a full copy and have played it through beginning to end.

If they and others are starting to give this big scores I would think you are quite safe.

 Well, just played the demo (It's on the PSN now) and it's awesome, although I wanted to do a bit more fighting. The stealth mechanic works really well and if you don't get a huge grin on your face when you glide kick some thug from a gargoyle you're dead inside . Should be on Xbox Game Marketplace tomorrow.

I played it last night and whilst I absolutely loved it, one problem though, it did seem extremely easy.

I played it last night and loved it.  You just can't beat playing as Batman.  Hanging upside down from Gargoyles, inverted takedown, firing the graple hook to your next vantage point and then stalking your next prey.  Amazing.  I am vry excited about this now.
