I think it's brilliant that really young kids are being introduced to technology like touch screen tablets etc. Sure you get the stories about kids then being given real books and try and turn the pages by swiping their finger on them, but as with most things with little kids, they'll stop doing that as they get older and learn more. That and it's usually some hysterical old biddy complaining about nothing. But as for the benefits, it's scary to think how good they're going to be when they're older. We already see it now with teenagers who can be doing one thing on their laptop, texting a friend on their phone, and watching TV at the same time, and know exactly what's going on with all three if you ask them. A generation of insanely good multi-taskers will be upon us before we know it, and I for one applaud out insect overlords!
