Nothing, I dropped out of college after a few months, much to the chagrin of my friends who slogged though it even though most of them hated it, out of 6 people I went to college with around the same time 1 got a decent job that actually has something to do with his course, hes doing his masters now and fair play to him, the rest after giving me much lecturing about they'd go so much further than me are all now either unemployed or on the verge of it, or working in regular retail jobs, college education is great when you have the drive to follow though on it and use it to get somewhere but it annoys the shit out of me that a lot of students seem to think they are entitled to some advantage over everyone else as they went to college and got a degree in something that they'll probably never use, they're also the easiest people in the world to get a rise out of, I just went down a different route and got a load of retail and office experience behind me

I'll take the bait; I went to university to do a degree I wanted to do (Ancient History, trivia fans), not one that I thought would land me a great job.  I have not regretted my course decision one iota, and I never will.

What pisses me off is that people who do management or business studies think that they are more entitled to the graduate jobs than people like me.  And it gives me a great degree of satisfaction when I hear from the possible employers who are seriously considering taking me on that I have made it through the selection processes at the expense of business studies graduates because of the research, analysis and self-motivation my course required.

University; learning more than just facts and how to drink shots through your eyeballs!

Anyway, completely unrelated to that, my unpopular opinion is that a sizeable minority of regular posters on this forum are really quite rude and self-righteous, and if they are anything like their online personas in real life then I imagine they are rather unpleasant people.

Perhaps; I base my opinions on my experiences.  I'm sure there are plenty of nice business types out there, but the ones I've been competing with are total bellends.

Besides, it seems that sweeping generalisations are the name of the game in here.
