Not always, plenty of room for a comedian who just tells jokes and makes funny observations, any most preacher comedians just come off as a lesser Bill hicks anyway, George Carlin aside

I love Hicks but I agree with you 100% and I'm sure he would have as well. Comedy is about far more than preaching and Hicks knew that. Two of his biggest influences were Richard Pryor and Woody Allen, neither of whom are exactly preacher comedians. Hicks also understood the value of showmanship and he adored performers like Kiss and Alice Cooper, part of the reason Hicks is considered a rock 'n' roll comedian is because he understood and used their iconography. It just seems like there's this popular image of Hicks as being some enlightened preacher figure that only ever talked about politics and spirituality and that completely neglects things like his Elvis impressions and routines about blowjobs.

I work in an office thats 85-90% women and I swear i nearly passed out with the level of heat being pumped into the place, its Dec 1st and I'm sat beside a wide open window with my shirt sleeves rolled up, its just fucking inhuman, women, if you're cold, wear more clothes!!!!!!

Totally agree with this, I was buying condoms in Boots the other week and this stupid girl behind the counter had a silly, trying to hold in a laugh, grin on her chops, as if I should be embarrassed that I'm responsible enough to make sure my girlfriend doesnt get pregnant, stupid cow, Irish priests and catholic guilt have a lot to answer for in this country

Owning a camera and taking pictures of park benches and trees in black and white doesnt make you a photographer, or deep, just unoriginal
