It was mentioned in an article about new contemporary versions of the bible on the BBC News website including a version thats like a glossy magazine.

This is actually really kool - my only disappointment with it was that when I came to buy it, I found that it's only a tiny part that's actually "manga-ized" :( . I wanted the whole thing in Manga

That is a letdown. Doesn't sound like it's been reported properly then, because I was under the impression it was all Manga too.

I now demand a full comic version of The Bible. A New Testament re-imagining written and illustrated by Frank Miller. Maybe a Warren Ellis-ised Old Testament too
