i only seen the bootleg version of this on the internet and even then i thought it looked amazing

the trailer is well worth it. Not sure if Liev Schrieber looks the part though. Why not get Tyler Mane back. He was ace.

 I dunno, the bit in the bootleg trailer where wolverine says 'im gonna cut yer god damn head off, see if that works', followed by a sly grin from creed, looks very much the part...

As a superhero/comicbook fan I start getting twitchy if I don't get my annual shot of marvelness, so it was great news to see this post on the empire blog! Bring on the claws!

I can't see myself getting excited about this.

We already had three films that essentially focused on Wolverine.

I'm more interested in a Magneto film.

 BOLLOCKS! My mates snuck me into the cinema today just so I could see this trailer and it wasn't there! There was Australia, The Spirit, Yes Man and Twilight. Absolutely no Wolverine. Well disappointed.

Looks pretty average to me. Gambit seems to feature as much as Sabertooth (which is not a good thing in my eyes) and the effects look very ropey in all honesty. I can only hope that a Deadpool spin off comes from this.

 I'm personally liking the amount of time Gambit is in the trailer (he's my favourite character minus Wovlie).  However, I do think that it's clever marketing by Fox, because of the massive reception of his character at Comic Con, Fox have decided to put Gambit in a lot of the trailer.  I think he'll only be a secondary character, with the Wovlie/Sabretooth backstory being the main plot.

I'll put money on Gambit being in it for a very short amount of time! I found the trailer underwelming, trying to sell on the action rather than story which doesn't interest me really.

 I think it looked pretty cool apart from the bit where wolvie jumps on the helicopter.
       Not sure on the casting for sabertooth why didnt they just keep the guy from x-men?? He was twice the size of liev schreiber i reckon i could take liev schreiber in a fight let alone wolverine??

And there was no scott adkins in the trailer. booooo!!!!!

 Edit how we miss you. I think they didn't keep the wrestler guy because there was actually something for the character to do in this one so some acting may be required. In X-men he was just a background thug.

Come on James, I wouldn't expect you to judge a film's effects by its trailer.
