ORIGINAL: Fluke Skywalker Yeah I suppose I'm seeing it more from the perspective of a fan as opposed to trying to make a film that would appeal to the masses, but I really liked all the future stuff and familial connections to Cyclops and whatnot Aw, man. That stuff all got to complicated for my liking. They got a bit carried away with it all. That's why I really liked Grant Morrison's New X-Men because it streamlined it all and tightened it up while keeping continuity but not acting as it's slave. I friggin' loved that book. What a shame the X-Books are pretty much not far off being a joke again. I'll admit though, I did collect the Cable book when it was known as Soldier X. Now THAT was good. It ignored the time travel and got rid of the techno-organic crap (how and why did that return?). It was just a story about a psychic mutant mercenary. Like the A-Team crossed with Mission Impossible and the Transporter but superpowers. Groovy
