 LIST AS AT 29th November



Initial posting...

Having got my arse handed to me on a plate yesterday (mainly by OngBakDan) on CoD4, I thought it would be a good idea to do a survey of who has what online game ie. what you'd like to play online in an Empire Forum night. There's no point setting one up if only 2 people have the game and a change from CoD 4 could be fun!

In order of preference, I have the following games that I'd like to play online in a large group....
  1. Burnout Paradise
  2. CoD4
  3. Racedriver Grid
  4. Wipeout HD
  5. Warhawk
  6. Army of Two
  7. Motorstorm
  8. FIFA 09 (coming soon!)

What about you?

Any of them and i'll try and join in. Also i'm downloading the CoD4 map pack as i type so next time i can properly join in.

 Well I'm up for (assuming I'm about/available) some Fifa, COD 4 (I think I may have solved the problem as to why I couldn't join last time) and Motorstorm (plus Pacific Rift)

I'll add Buzz to the list - not sure how many on here have it, but could be a good laugh, along with NHL 09.

Yeah a change could be good: i've got COD4, Wipeout HD, Battlefield BC, Army Of Two, Resistance, F.E.AR, Unreal Tournament,

I think wipeout HD would be good with enough players....and it is a steal at only £11.99.....

 hmmmm  could be a laugh.  Although i'm a touch short on variety of games.  at the moment i've got GT5, GTA4, dark sector and fight night round 3.

 My COD4 is on loan to a work collegue. 

I do however have at the moment, GTAIV, Burnout Paradise, Army of Two, Resistance, WipeOut HD, Motorstorm and LBP.

I love Paradise! Whats your issue with it?
Have to say getting the 6-8 player challenges is impossible...there's always at least one fuckwit in the group.

Maybe hate was to strong of a word, it's a cool game it's just the more I play it, the more certain things annoy me. Like the map, not much variety in racing, the indicator system.

 Heres where we currently stand...

Looks like COD4 and Motorstorm stand out, but we have a few 4s.

I've got about 20-30 Empire people on my friend list, where's your input!!??

Yeah - I've got WAW and Far Cry 2 now.
WAW is fantastic in my opinion. Would be great organising a night on that once a few people get it. A competitive co-op would also be a nice change.
However Im not going to suggest a night on Far Cry 2 as the online side of it isnt the best but I could be a little harsh on it as I havent spent too long on it yet.
I havent got Motorstorm and to be honest, I doubt i'll be buying anything else this side of christmas....
When we thinking of next empire night then??

 I've been buying far too many games that I never get a chance to play very much:
COD4, MotorStorm, Warhawk, Grid, GTA4, Battlefield, GT: Prologue (should they ever introduce a lobby), LBP, Burnout, Far Cry 2. And Everybody's Golf (it's good, okay!).
Just bought Midnight Club as well, though it's not arrived yet - damn you Play.com and you're evil special offers!!!
Tempted by Resistance 2 but will probably wait for a price drop

I do love the PS3 but I'm not on it that much. When I am though I play Resistance and Formula 1. All the other games I have on it are single player.




I'm also looking to get resistance 2 at some stage if I see it going cheap somewhere.
