So if Roger Moore thinks Daniel Craig is the 'best Bond', how much does that piss certain people off?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-19389882

He's got a book to sell. Plus he said he was the best actor to play Bond... not the best movie star.

Connery pisses on Craig and Moore is better too. I would argue that Craig is actually the worst Bond, and I would also say Dalton was the best actor to have played Bond.

Roger is just being polite as always. He always says this about whoever is playing Bond curently. He said Brosnan was the best while he was playing him.

The Craig movies are not BOND movies. They are just action films with Daniel Craig in them.

Will you actually not watch this one then? Please don't watch it. Revisit the old ones and wait for a new Bond. You won't like it and it will save us all a lot of bother in the long run.

Use the block button.Problem solved.I use it so I dont have to read Mattyb's nonsense.

Well I at least agree with the final part of that statement

Moore is the worse Bond actor with Lazerbly a close second (Moore beats him as a result of doing more films).

Am excited about this new film I do like Craig as Bond I think he brings back the steely intensty of Dalton and is a good pysical actor who brings a bit more emotion to the partm and Mendes doing a Bond film will be an interesting change of pace for him.

I am not too bothered Daniel Craig is going to be 007 for another two movies as I am liking the look of Skyfall.

I do hope Ralph Fiennes becomes the new M as I think we have had our fill of Judi Dench, who has done a fine job but it is time to go.

Oh and please why slag dear old Roger? He was the epitome of the suave, debonair agent that the cinematic Bond became, distancing himself from the crueller and less sophisticated literary version. As I have often believed, the film version of Bond is what the public have bought into. If we had the Bond of the books I don't think he would have lasted as long or would have been so successful.

Let's hope Skyfall can wipe away the non-Bondness of QoS, the daftness of DAD and give us something more the TWINE, which I think was Brosnan's best movie.

And as always when a 007 movie is out I'll be at the very first screening I can, as I have been ever since I went to see The Living Daylights when I was in Newcastle of all places!

Hope that isn't the theme. Sounds more like game music, with bits from various themes, including the main bond theme rearranged/elongated/mixed into a pastiche. TDL and TWINE musical phrases seem to leap out from it, and it had no 'chorus' of it's own. It doesn't sound like a backing track for a vocal performance, Past Bond themes have often had a chorus that itself acts as (arranged for orchestral performance) incidental music, Nothing in this track really leaps out as being that fully formed, just notes in a familiar register to evoke the generalised feel.

Then again, could just be the new one with old stuff layered in to make it feel familiar before a proper arrangement , chorus and all is heard. If the new piece is so easily accessible on the net that an instrumental form of it AND a vocal version of the rumoured adele track (not accessible via the above link) can be accessed online.

I call shenanigans until I know different, If wrong, I'll cite caution as the better part of valour

"Nobody Does it Better" at #8 and a "A View to a Kill" and "Live and Let Die" above it at #3 and #2??? Typical rock fan bollox.

And what the heck is Sheryl Crow doing up so high when everyone agree K.D. Lang's "Surrender" is far superior?

I actually quite like Sheryl Crow's effort, the again I also really like Garbage's effort. I do like KD Lang's song  Carly Simon would be number one for me though.
