If Fassbender was Nolan's Bond I think I would genuinely cry with happiness.

Now that Dark Knight Rises is out of the way, Skyfall becomes my next most anticipated film of the year and after that IMAX trailer I am really looking forward to this. The IMAX trailer is stunning and it really looks like Mendes has nailed the action and there is some great looking stunt work.

Fassbender or Ioan Gruffud would make good Bonds I think. Bond has to be a smart arse and Craig just doesn't come across as suave either. Now Roger Moore on the other hand, you can believe him getting sexy hot European chicks into bed within minutes, whereas Connery would just treat them like shit and they would come around! How can anyone not love the old Bond movies?

Bond for Britain!

Yeah it's a nice touch. A riff on Brosnan fixing his tie.

Fassbender is so clearly the perfect Bond it makes this movie (and any future Craig Bonds) feel like an enormous waste of time.

Must admit that I'm looking forward to this.

I loved Casino Royale, and thought Quantum of Solace was a huge hunk of steaming shit, but this looks pretty awesome.

Yeah I agree with filmfanatic13, CR was pretty good, while QoS wasn't really a Bond movie. It could have been anyone or anything in that film. It had a character called James Bond, but it wasn't Bond, if you know what I mean. But by the look of it the guns, gadgets and girls will be back with a vengeance and indeed some much needed humour (which the cuffs bit seems more like 007).

Fassbender would make a bloody excellent Bond, but I think Craig is the best yet (amongst stiff competition), so I'd happily see him do a couple more.

A Nolan/Fassbender (as much as I love him for some reason just don't see Christian) combo with hopefully Chris enlisting Wally Pfister to go back on camera duties 1 last time would be AWSOME!

Craig the best yet? I thought glue was safe to sniff now?

Seriously, Craig is the second poorest Bond ever just ahead of Lazenby. It is not his fault, but he is charmless, unsophisticated and devoid of humour. Suave and debonair he is not, and no matter what anyone says about the Bond of the books, the Bond of the movies (and what has contributed to 007 being different from other action heroes) is that he is suave and debonair as well as being tough and a daredevil.

That looks great.

Any idiot still blathering on about Craig not being suave enough needs to watch from about 2:13 onwards.

Holy shit! I thought the IMAX trailer was good, but this is even better. Both versions (International and US Domestic) look amazing and the one thing people in my office that saw Dark Knight Rises in IMAX agreed on, was that Skyfall looked fucking amazing. First billion dollar Bond? I wouldnt bet against it.

Just watched the new trailer.
We have a gun that has to read 007's palm to fire - didn't we have one of those in License to Kill?
And MI6 HQ getting blown to shit - Pre credits sequence of The World is not Enough?
New ideas please!

I'm actually genuinely interested to hear your thought's on Skyfall and the trailers so far. No sarcasm, I really am. C'mon, what are you thinking of it?

Well since you asked...

First trailer was EXTREMELY Meh.Could have been a trailer from any straight to dvd Boure style action flick. The only indication that youd know it was a Bond film was the 007 logo at the end.

New trailer is a big improvement ( Not Hard ).Some impressive action sequences on display and good to see the return of Q ( I like the idea of him being played by a young fella for a change ).Bardem should be a good villain and for once looks like someone who should be a physical threat to 007.But im sorry, Craig still just doesnt cut it as Bond.He is so devoid of charm and humour that that bit where he fixes his tie after jumping on the train looks so forced.Brosnan, Moore, and especially Connery were so good at that stuff.

My world has been genuinely rocked to its core by Cool's reaction to Daniel Craig as Bond.

Amazing.
