If Pigeon Army were here right now he'd agree with me 100% when I say that you're utterly wrong.

I thought the franchise had run its course with the awful third sequel, but part 5 managed to pull it back from the brink a little bit.

Final Destination 3

Did you mean The Final Destination? The third one was good. I've not seen the fifth one, but I really like the first three. Really need to give them a rewatch actually.

The one with the rollercoaster. Fucking dreadful film.

I enjoyed it. Only the 4th one with the race track was rubbish, the others were good fun.

I had the misfortune of sitting through about 25 minutes of "White Chicks" the other night before demanding that it be turned off. What a steaming huge turd of a film that is.

There are very few films I'd actually label as "the worst ever". Usually if I dislike something I just forget about it and don't watch it again. But these ones, being particularly crappy, I felt deserved a solid place on the list...

Sleeping Beauty (2011)
Green Street
Epic Movie (and all of those "Movie" movies apart from Scary Movie 1 & 2)
Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus (it's not one of those "so bad it's good", it's just f**king bad)
Your Highness

I didn't like the third one either. I think the fourth is worse, though. Really didn't like that.

I got this off Lovefilm today. I'm pretty damn certain I never put it on my list, even the presence of Natalie Portman in a bikini doesn't make me want to watch it.

Its a wonderful afterlife.

Watched last weekend with a bunch of mates after quadbiking. I was tired and used as an excuse to sleep through most of it, but it was gash. Following up from Bend it like Beckham (not the best comedies, but still good) this was so so so gash.

The way the English language works, technically there can be only one film you can label as "the worst ever".

Seems quite a odd choice to go along with the dire big budget stuff there, still have not seen it but got the impression it was solid at least.

Also people need to get over this Twilight bashing. They are films which work perfectly well for the target audience and the lead actress is fine, their not anything ground breaking but when you look at some of the other trash out there they don't belong on worse film lists either.

It seriously gives White chicks a run for its money as worst film of all time.
Depressingly, 2 people i work with thought it was hilarious but to be honest this says more about the type of people i work with than the film!

Horses for courses, innit?

Look, my mum thinks Steel Magnolias is a great film but I don't think any less of her for that. But I am thinking of disowning her just for reading 50 Shades of Grey.

Its not the worst movie ever but it is pretty crap. The nature of the movie means you have to suspend belief (as always) but the issues it badly tries to tackle dont sit right. I was reminded of AVP mixed with Jeepers Creepers. It is shit.

If anyone here plans to make a visit to Edinburgh this month for the festival & has been waiting for an opportunity to see the Room, you're in luck!

It's back on the big screen for four late night shows this month - starting tonight!

Fittingly enough, it's listed under the 'comedy' section.

Not one of the "worst" per say but I recently watched The American starring George Clooney. Which has to be one of the most dull films I've seen. Absolutely nothing happens. A hitman movie starring Clooney, and nothing happens.

Watchmen (2009)

Watching the film made it even more clear is the thought that if anyone is going to adapt a comic-character/s to another medium, this being film, make sure that character and the world he/she embodies fits to the big-screen medium,if not leave it to the comic books because that is where these characters still (and in my eyes) will forever prevail.

The only benefit to come out of this adaptation is the fact that (well I hope) it has been made and Hollywood can check-it off its 'wishlist' of Comic adaptions, because frankly it is rubbish as its an embarrassment to what is a truly brilliant comic-book.

Watchmen is the worst film ever made? Seriously? It's in my top three superhero films.

1. The Dark Knight
2. Avengers
3. Watchmen

How is Watchmen worse than those 'Movie' films like Date Movie etc?

Thread title: ''Worst Films Made Ever In The History Of Film''
Not thread title: ''Worst Adaptations Made Ever In The History Of Film''

I liked Watchmen and have no intention to read the comic. Why do people insist that: Film Accurate to Book = good. Film Inaccurate to Book = bad. They're two completely different mediums made by completely different people. The only thing they have to keep from the book is the name. Judge the film on its own merits and not by comparing it to a book written by someone else.

Wow!
The Directors Cut is in my all time top 10, I think it's by far the most original, visually stunning and rewatchable costume superhero film I've seen.
I haven't read the comic, but as already mentioned, one medium should have nothing to do with the other when discussing either's good or bad points in an objective way.
