Scarface is a good film, but it's about how if a man is a massive twat, he will remain a massive twat even if he obtains enough cocaine to construct a small igloo. The problem is the fans that think it's awesome because being a gangsta is awesome.

And a lot of people (who I know anyway) only watch it or remember it for that line. (had to find an excuse to use this at some point)

6 years & 15 pages...no one on this thread mentions this?

Yet again, a thread that fails to live up to its title as far too many people have confused "the worst films made ever in the history of film" with "films I just didn't like."

And to the guy who proclaimed Blade Runner the worst film ever made, you shouldn't be allowed out of your house - never mind allowed in a cinema...

Not sure, technically it's this one coming up that's the official one - yet it doesn't quite capture how devastating the love triangle is for Johnny.

I honestly think that Pirates of the Caribbean 3 is one of the worst films ever.

So much money put into it, good cast, great location, easy peasy idea to make fun, good characters. Surely it would be easy to make a stupid fun film?

Its baffling at how they could fuck up so much with all that money and talent* at their disposal.

Well when the pair of you eventually get round to it, you'll be in for a treat!

Spaldron - noticed you're Edinburgh based. Keep an eye on the listings at the Cameo as they've showed quite a few late night screenings of it over the past couple of years. I'm sure it was on during last years Fringe as well (in the programme it was listed in the comedy category).

Funnily enough, when that came out and got decent-ish reviews I thought maybe I'd give her another chance. Then I read a plot description which mentioned a couple looking after a stray cat called Paw Paw and I put such silly thoughts from my mind. I don't intend to go through that hell again.

Oh the Room is bad,so..so bad.
And its not a 'so bad its good' type movie, its just awfull in every conceivable way.
The clips on Youtube actaully make the film out to be a cult (rubbish) classic, but it really shouldnt be.

The Room is incredible - the man is laying his heart out on the line!

When I have so much fun with it, I cannot with an honest heart put it in the worst film of all time box. It has an insanity to it which draws you in.

The Room is a bad movie. It's badly written and directed and has some of the worst acting ever to be filmed. Seriously. If you look at it that way, then it is one of the wost films ever made.

I understand why people love it, though, it's as batshit insane as it's leading man......

I just had to check IMDB to make sure the guy in the suit with the gun wasn't David Carradine.

Anyone seen Tentacles ? Essentially Jaws, but with a giant octopus, and, er, not quite as good. Most shots of the titular creature are just of a normal octopus doing nothing. There's one shot using a miniature boat that is really badly done, and one half-decent one with some rubber tentacles and an actor. At the end they send a couple of trained killer-whales to kill the octopus. This scene is achieved with the use of killer-whale glove puppets tearing apart a real dead octopus. It is entertainingly bad.
