Of course.

And yet his presence in the country will help supply some national solidarity,

You think it's appropriate for the Prime Minister to have to essentially be heckled to return to work while the Capital burns its way through a third consecutive day of rioting? It's hardly leadership.

I think it's just more reassuring for people to see their elected leader back home. He can make decisions in board rooms and meetings instead of over the phone.

Personally I have no problem with him being allowed to go back on holiday when this is all finished, but unfortunately this is part of his job.

I think it's more shocking that Boris had to be asked a couple of times by his deputy before eventually deciding to return and "lead from the front" which should be a barrel of fucking laughs on tomorrow morning's news.

Hope everyone up there is okay.

I think it's incredible that Cameron, Clegg and Osborne have all been allowed to go on holiday at the same time and Boris !!!!

Heartbreaking listening to the owner and his brother of the shop on fire in Croydon. Built in 1857 and 5 generations of the family have run it. They arrived just as the thugs were running out of it having torched it but as the fire crew couldn't get there, it just went up in flames

I think they should get the water cannons out and kill three birds with one stone

1. Crowd dispersal
2. Put out a few fires
3. Some will get a much needed wash

Tories get back in and we have riots...this is no coincidence

The picture on the front of tomorrow's Telegraphy sums it up. A chav, scarf wrapped around his face, can of special brew in hand walking past a wrecked car engulfed in flames.

Made me cry listening to them both, they were both so devastated.

The news guy trying to ask someone in Clapham what they were doing and why they were stealing stuff (think it was a girl).

Response? "I'm getting my taxes back" That did make me laugh for the sheer stupidity of the answer.....

Wouldn't want to be that news guy though. Where's Louis Theroux when you need him!

I'm not Conservative and didn't vote for them at the last election.

But it's better than being a biggoted Labour supporter who tries to pin everything on the current government, even if the root cause has been festering for years under the last lot.

Is that what you think i'm doing?

Fool, this is about trying to unite a nation who have become disillusioned about their lives, about their future! And one of the ways in which this can be done is if the leader is here to help LEAD!
