Just ordered my blu-ray/dvd Diamond edition copy of Lady and the Tramp @ amazon.com
Apparently, that slipcase is nicer than the UK/NL version

Hasn't it been finished for about a week now?

Got Sleeping Beauty on Bluray today!
Got pictures of the packaging which is pretty identical to the R1 Edition, except the DVD is integrated into the packaging rather than in a seperate sleeve.

I have to say its the best transfer (image wise) of a Platinum Edition I have seen, and thats just on the DVD! Can't wait to persuade my dad to buy a Bluray Player.

nice i like it

Are all the Diamond Editions supposed to have numbers on the spine? I'm sure my Beauty and the Beast does, but I don't think there's one on Snow White.

They started putting numbers on after Snow White was released.

I don't know if anyone gets the DMR promotion emails but they're doing a treasure hunt type thing to get bonus points codes. Anyway, I found them all today. They're only worth 10 points each, but here are the codes:

Holiday
Queen
Jubilee
Fun
Party

Does anyone know if the Diamond Edition thing is only certain films or if it will eventually be all Disney's films?

I just preordered the Cinderella Diamond Edition and noticed that Aristocats comes out on blu ray later this year, but I don't think it's a Diamond Edition. I'm not sure whether to order it now in case it's the only version they do, or wait and hope they release a Diamond Edition down the line. I suppose I could always buy it now and then sell it if the Diamond Edition does come out.

Only the vault titles (i.e. the ones that get released for a short amount of time before being yanked) get Diamond Editions, all the other smaller films get Special or Anniversary editions. Here's a list of the vault titles:

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
Pinocchio (1940)
Fantasia (1940)
Bambi (1942)
Cinderella (1950)
Peter Pan (1953)
Lady and the Tramp (1955)
Sleeping Beauty (1959)
101 Dalmatians (1961)
The Jungle Book (1967)
The Little Mermaid (1989)
Beauty and the Beast (1991)
The Lion King (1994)

Just put in my code from the Aristocats and bumped up to 850 so I ordered Lady and the Tramp. I also have Cinderella on pre-order.

Do you think there'll be codes in all Disney films? I have noticed that Pirates of the Caribbean and Race to Witch Mountain and a few others that I didn't even realise were Disney are on there.

Just wondering, as The Avengers is technically Disney, isn't it?

Bizarrely, I just entered my code from The lion King which took my total to 850, and I ordered Pocahontas.

Of the Disneys released on BR, I still need to pick up Aristocats, Lady and the Tramp, and Tarzan. I'm falling behind on my Disneys...!

Just realised there are only 13 titles on this list....but the Diamond Editions are numbered and my Lady and the Tramp has the number 15 on it
