Nearly two hours of The Lion King features are on the Disney Virtual Vault. Anyone who has Fantasia will know what this means - crappy load times and crappy picture quality. Not to mention all these features will be gone when Disney decide to pull the plug. Put it on the bloody disc you bloody dipshigs!

Hadn't even looked at the disney reward scheme, but have a load of the blu rays, so thought I would see how many points I could get. Now have a 3D blu ray of Christmas Carol on the way!

Funnily the disc I got from them today had even more reward points in it! Only need about 300 more points to get another one!

I just ordered Tangled and Incredibles in the BOGOF sale on HMV, so when they come the points from them should bump me up to enough to get another blu-ray!

That's the 3D cinema release today. Not the Blu-Ray, that's in a few weeks.....

Hitchcock said 7th November for blu ray release, not October that you think he said.

Unfortunately, you don't seem to be able to combine formats with the BOGOF offer. Or, at least, you can't on HMV. I wanted to get Tangled on DVD for my cousin and grab a blu ray for myself while I was at it but I was being charged for both. That's silly.

On an unrelated note, do new releases go onto Disney Rewards straight away? I don't know if I should wait until Lion King is released to use my points.

I was wondering this too, if anyone has any idea? I have enough points now to get a Blu-ray but there isn't anything on at the minute that I need / want.

So where's the cheapest place to take advantage of the BOGOF deal?

I want to get Aristocats and Fantasia on DVD - is 13.99 the cheapest I can get them?

Gah! This offer annoys me. Last time I couldn't get Tron Legacy with Toy Story 3 because Tron wasn't in the offer. This time neither is Pirates 4 or oddly enough Enchanted....  Anyone know why Enchanted isn't? Or better yet, somewhere it is?

Fine, I'll answer my own question! HMV!

I got Rescuers and Aristocats on DVD for 12.54 and Fantasia and Alice in Wonderland for 16.54 on Blu Ray.

Also, where do you guys find out what's coming out of the vault and when? I'm hoping 101 Dalmatians might resurface soon.

I think the next one to be released after Lion King is The Lady and the Tramp.

It's Lady and the Tramp AND Cinderella next.

Trailers below:

I wonder if, as well as Cinderella we might see the Blu-Ray release of Finding Nemo next autumn?

Clicky!

I've got 1000 points - are they going to be listing the Lion King soon as a reward?

I'd say after Christmas as a reward, possibly easter.

Well I watched Tangled on Blu Ray earlier this evening.

Strange film... didn't really like it. I knew the development changes that happened to it and I just couldn't that out of my head, nothing felt right. I actually think it would have worked better as a princess movie.

Looked absolutely stunning though.

I got my Lion King blu ray today and put the code into the rewards site, only it was the wrong one.Instead of being the code for the double play blu-ray, it was the code for the triple pack of all three films. However, it earned me 300 points more than it should've, which bumped me up enough to order Fantasia

I thought you could access the classic dvd features via the Disney fault on the Region 2 Blu Ray?

Just put in my code for reward points from my Lion King Double Play blu ray and it gave me 450 points, thought it was the lion king trilogy. Lol

Just received an email with this offer:

I won 500 points! I redeemed it with my Lego PoTC code and got 800 points in total. As much stick as Disney get in some quarters they certainly struck gold with the dmr in my eyes
