Having had a slight feeling of frittering my life away, have set myself five goals to achieve before I'm 40 (giving me just over three and a half years). The easiest of those was to start a blog, which consists of movie reviews and other exciting (promise) articles about why cinema is the best place to see films. I will be aiming to write a blog at least every other day - we'll see how it goes. Link below.

I've got a blog and Twitter page called The Four Word Review, but I only started it yesterday. It's a fairly simple plan. Once I've caught up with all the films I've seen recently, I'm going to rent out films from Love Film and review them along with cinema trips and a few games and CDs thrown in there too. The only rule is the review has to be exactly four words.

Anyone got any suggestions for stuff to review? PM me.

Simultaneously and constantly mean the same thing in that context though. So I'd drop the "both".

Nope. Simultaneously means "at the same time", and constantly means "without breaks". <smug face

That's the usual definition of both aye, but the sentence seems to imply that it's both at the same time or something. It'd still work better as a sentence without the "both". You know it's true, boy.

Can you tell that I'm attempting to avoid studying?

I've been wanting to set up a blog as a place to post my short stories and creative writng. My problem at the moment is, that I can't think what to call it. Want it to be something clever without being arty or pretentious and not cheesy. I noticed you guys seem to have come up with good names for yours and was wondering how you came up the names?

Well my blog is finally up and running. Its called The Penultimate Universe and can be found at www.penultimateuniverse.blogspot.com

It's where I'm going to be putting up my short stories and creative writings; mostly of the sci-fi, fantasy and speculative fiction variety. Have got one story up already (which I'm sure Homer will recognise.) I'm still messing around with the look of it all, so please bear with me on that front.

I've also started following a couple of the blogs on here, using Bloggers 'follow' tool. Hope you enjoy it if you read it.

I do indeed recognise one of them! haha!

Incidentally, the name The 24th Frame (link in my sig, remember) came after I changed my Twitter name. Most other variants of 24 Frames had already been taken -the24thframe hadn't. Turns out it sounds pretty good too!

As a form of advertising, I've set up first posts in ongoing "columns" which I can separate out using the tags on the right of the blog itself, which is a nifty feature. Cheers to ilovebeerme for having a Posterous blog, as I quite like the way it works.

Kilo, if you go to www.blogger.com , then you can just set one up using their step by step instructions. I did it that way, was really straight forward and it didn't take me too long to get it up and running.

Hi. Those of you who are interested in Hammer films are very welcome to drop by my blog Watching Hammer, where I'm hoping to eventually post a review of every film available - and not just horror; Hammer produced films in many genres over the years.

Decided to add a foodie blog as a companion piece to my main eco family blog. Just a few posts at the minute, and this will probably be a part time effort, but enjoying writing it so far....

Also, as you can see below, I'm running a Wildlife Photography Competition on Greensheen. If anyone is interested (I know there are some fantastic photographers lurking about these parts), here's the direct page link

Got a blog, is it weird that I'm not prepared to tell anyone where it is?

Hi All,

I thought it would be better to just give this a bump back up the forum considering there's already a thread for it.

Should any of you fancy a read of my ramblings - starting with a bit of a gripe at the BBC's attitude towards Just Giving, you can have a read at http://BishopQuaker.wordpress.com

Ta!

I think a four word review of Passion of the Christ could be a good un!

Oh well, if everyone else is doing it - have a look at mine (in my signature). It's a spoof movie gossip thing with loads of cutting satire and swear words. It makes me laugh anyway.

I'll give myself a little plug as well. My friend and I have a Sport and Film themed Podcast and Blog, the twist is, I know nothing about sport, he knows nothing about film.

BQ, this is really meant to be a thread for people to pimp their blogs, rather than mentioning every new post made on said blogs. Why not update your signature to indicate when a new post is made? Use colours, so it stands out a bit. It's what I do...
