I would have kept a save for the end of chapter 13 with the disturbing eye drill bit, killed myself a few times there but I am pretty useless. Chapter 14 though really is a bitch with the amount of enemies in tight corridors.

I'm going to hold off on the DLC on this for a while, hopefully drop in price at some stage. Seems a bit too much for such short length.

Playing DS2 at the moment, seems okay but it misses the structure of the first one - I could understand the missions better and the map at each chapter gave me an idea of what was going on - along with the engineer style objectives, fix engines, gravity, life support etc. I have no idea what the layout of the Titan station looks like so far and I just got onto Chapter 10.

I decided to go back to my level 5 save and made it to level 10 so hopefully my run to level 13  shouldn't be as long or stressful as it would have been from my original level 7 save. For those of you saying i'm mad (which i am), it was tough at the start but once you get your force gun and level it up it's not that bad, infact it's quite easy. Can't wait to get my foam hand gun and one shot kill everything on my zealot run

I didnt realise til later in that you can upgrade the stasis more than in the original - very useful later in to have twice as many shots and faster recharge. Half the guns are still pointless though.

Picked this up today, so far it's very cool. I hated the first one for the first few levels until I started getting into it then it got awesome. I've only played about 30 minutes and shat my pants for pretty much every second of those minutes...

Gave the multiplayer a go aswell and I fucking love that! It's loads fun because nobody seems to know what the hell your supposed to do! People just jumping, shooting and vomiting all over each other, it's mental stuff.

Multiplayer would be more fun if the necromorphs didnt win everytime because the CEC team dont bother attacking the target and just stand about shooting the enemy team.

Hard to the Core completed. Crazy tough challenge that will leave you questioning your sanity. There isnt a feeling out there to compare to playing for two hours only to die in a really pathetic manner.

Im so glad I ran through the end bit on zealot to test things out. I found out I could take out the final boss in 6 shots with the contact beam.....it took 4 on hardcore

I must have ran through chapter 14 and 15 with about 8 double health packs and 10 3x stasis.

Me and Pete Griffin would make a beautiful Dead Space ass kicking baby. Can anyone join us?

Ah yeah, was that the RE6 logo or something?

Dead Space 1 and 2 were great but I think they should quit while they're ahead....

Logo, trailer and details, it had the lot. Had me going aswell, those bastards! Mean to be Leon and Jill as the leads etc Fake trailer was impressive though. I reckon they'll do Dead Space 3 just not for another two years or so. I'd welcome it. I didn't have an issue with pt2. Seems a lot of peeps were let down by some of the big sequels last year, Dead Sapce and Bio Shock. I thought both were ace.

The studio that developed the Dead Space games has closed down.

EDIT

The studio 'involved' with producing DS has closed

If it's true I don't like the sound of it. For one, it's not space. It's a planet. Seriously though, seems like a 'filler' episode, I'd rather have the the game set on Earth. That would be ace.

Im liking your av Bozz, Jennifer Connelly?

....sorry, back to DS3.

IF

They could do it, a The Thing (1982)/Deadspace type game could be brilliant. They obviously took the necromorph idea from the movie.

Courteney Cox rockin it as Gale in Scream 4 bud.

Now that you mention The Thing my interest has peaked somewhat. Didn't think of that. If it's true that is. Still early days. Problem with game info leakin, the actual game is probs 2 years away!

I can't bring myself to properly get into Dead Space 2. The first one is one of my favorite games but I'm too fucking scared for part 2.

The first game is much scarier than the second though, so I wouldn't worry

The first is a survival horror game, the second is more of an action horror.

I still have nearly all of the first game to play through...

'too many games' curse has struck again...

I want to...yet I am afraid...

Yeah DS is still scarier than the sequel, but not that much scarier. DS2 is a more of a ride, and a helluva ride that is.
