...according to the second xXx film(which was awful). Love to see what they do about it. I think they even did a DVD extra showing his death didn't they?

I am sure in the 2nd one it said he was killed. Well lets see what the story will be on this one. I liked the first one...the second was ok but why they did have Willem Defoe in it?

Another xXx? Hmm...
Surely Vin Diesel was born to play Kratos in a 'God of War' film....

Well as the character is supposed to be dead they'll make up some bullshit that his death was faked in order to do some mega bad undercover mission.

The first one wa awful so not really holding much hope for this, the second was passable because it didnt take itself to serious and was comedy gold being so bad.

Maybe a ice cube/diesel team up movie is what the world is waiting for???

If Rob Cohen is involved, it's instant crap in my eyes, everything he touches ends up utter rubbish, Even Righteous Kill

The first one was fun, they just didn't do themselves any favour billing themselves as the new bond. Hopefully they won't try to be the new Bourne this time round.

I am but an egg.

I agree with Harry, everything Cohen touches is rubbish. xXx 2 has to be one of the worst films ever and quite frankly I hope this film dies at the cinema.

Vin Disel must be desperate (especially as the XXX2 producers were annoyed about the amount of money he was asking and killed his character off).

I would prefer to see another Riddick sequel - but more in the style of Pitch Black or Dark Fury anime (rather than "Chronicles..").

This will be awesome! I've seen the original twice. Me and my flatmate spent £1 each and bought a 2nd hand copy a couple months ago and laughed our asses off for 2 "explosive" hours. So funny I don't know where to begin. Diesel roaring "I LIVE FOR THIS SHIT!!!" being the obvious highlight. Incidently I genuinely enjoyed Chronicles of Riddick and am heading to the review right now to give it a slightly generous 5 stars.

P.S. I'd give XXX 3 stars. One for each X in the title.

Seem to remember Diesel saying that the first XXX movie would end up being bigger than Bond... that it was more modern and more socially relevant .............. and then he dropped out of the sequel.... and now ....this? HAAAAAWWWWWW! Xander Cage is supposed to be dead - isn't he? To be fair, the first XXX did have one truly great action sequence in it. Compare the avalance chase in Diesel's film to the horrendous CGI rubbish that was in Pierce Brosnan's final James Bond effort ( Die Another Day) . But I'm clutching at straws here. Jason Bourne is more relevant than Xander Cage - hell - even Bond himself has got his balls back, now that Daniel Craig is playing him. This whole business reeks of desperation. Vin Diesel is a unique screen talent but - bottom line - he sure makes some lousy script choices....hope they're paying him enough.....

Could this Xander be the late original Xander's evil twin?

Could this be one of his adventures before he died?

Could this be another nail in Vin's coffin?

Vin, you need to find yourself a new agent, urgently! XXX & The Fast and the Furious 4?

You are currently making movies for a market niche that has no particular identity nor any special place for you left. Is it action movie, is it espionage, is it kick-ass, is it cars and skateboards, what is it? Whom do you wish to have for an audience? You are not growing any younger, get serious! You'll end up going straight to DVD!

As the X chromosone is the female chromosone, what he's really saying with his name is that he's once, twice, three times a big purse-carrying, lipstick-wearing, ovulating girly man.

Vin Diesel is like Hollywood's Jade Goody. Why people keep putting him in movies is beyond my comprehention. The Fast and The Furious was pretty good and Pitch Black was a cool little indie sci-fi flick. But nothing this guy's been involved in since has been anything less than a fart in an elevator

Diesel at least is giving us old fashioned action entertainment, we can't have comic book films ruling every summer, you need some variation, a summer film without a pop corn action filick, even if it's not meant to be so intelligent, but just harmless enjoyable fun. He may not have got everything right, but at least we got someone who's trying to continue the action heydays of Sly, Arnie and Bruce. Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis, Stallone and even Arnie-T4 cameo, have all gone back to fanchise characters.
I enjoyed XXX, XXX2 was horriable without Diesel, he should never have left the series, but better late then never.
