That's good news, good luck with the strapadichtomy.

I am concerned that you even knew the word. I see how you spend your weekends now.

YES! THANK FUCKITY!

Got a call from the hospital today and I have an appointment on Friday afternoon. So fucking relieved and happy, especially after feeling so crap yesterday at the thought of waiting for 3 months just to be seen again. They obviously consider my case 'urgent'.

Excellent news!!

Also, great news about Matty jr, nice to see there are so many things to smile about (including Chief's strapadichtomy)

Cheers, Hobbs. Just got back from a meeting with his teacher and he got a cracking report so we're well chuffed. He's sprinkling some much-needed happiness into our lives at the minute.

Brilliant news Sway! Hope they get something sorted soon for you.

I know it's the wrong point, but isn't it odd the range of names little 'uns call a penis. I think for my nephew it was peepee until he got to school. God only knows what he calls it now. Willy for an under 5 is impressive

Just remembered that yesterday I went through to my flatmate's room as I was putting on an extra jumper and I sat down next to him as I wrestled with the hoody I was putting on. He then said of his own accord, 'I just looked at your boob.' Which panicked me, thinking it was hanging out or something. Thankfully it was under about 10 layers, but it made me laugh that he volunteered that information.

You do realise if you - an actual girl - keep typing words like 'boob' there's a good chance vad3r's bollocks might explode?

I had to get out or risk going insane so went to the local zoo. Very little aches or pains so recovery appears to be going well at last.

11 days until I move house, and my landlord-elect is already awesome. I want to arrange to get the first payment to him so it's not burning a hole in my bank, he's tells me a figure less than the one I've calculated, and says to come to the property tomorrow, he'll give me the keys so I can start getting stuff moved in if I want. I don't officially move until 12/12/12 (heh) but I'll have the keys tomorrow. Amazing.

I figuratively cannot wait to move. This house has never been a "home". I've never settled. Christ, there are still boxes in rooms eight months later. When I moved here, everything else was positive - new job, new opportunities, etc - but I didn't want to move out of my last place, but I had to as it was tied to the job. This time, I really want to move. My landlord has been fine - completely absent: I've only met him once - but fine. It's just the house itself; too far away, too expensive, too big. Without the children around, I rattle around here, lost. The new place is smaller, but still ample for me and the children, less expensive, and much, much nearer to, well, everything. That the landlord-elect seems to be such a nice guy is a real boon too.
