Anybody know the cheapest place to get Star Trek on blu, or is it pretty much the same everywhere?

Some HMV's have it in the 2 for 25 offer, alas the only store that I've seen it in was London Oxford Street. Everything is in the 2 for 25 there, its amazing.

If anyone can find me Star Trek for less than 14 then they get a goldstar from me!

Play.com had it for 10 last week for about 2 hours. Very bitter I missed that one!

None of the HMV's I have visited are including it in their 2 for 25 (although, I have seen other fairly new releases in there and each store has been pretty different). You'd think if I walked into one and told them I saw it in Oxford Street in the 2 for 25 they would honour it in that store as well. Is there some sort of rule on offering the same deal if spotted in another store?

I don't think there is any such rule, but it wouldn't hurt to ask I guess!

On a related note, a friend who works at Blockbuster was telling me how (500) Days of Summer is the single most expensive blu-ray release to date, in terms of wholesale price. Interesting fact.

On Friday, HMV are doing a deal where when you buy Battlefield 2 on PS3, you can get Hurt Locker on Blu for 5.

I don't suppose anyone has any prices for Fantastic Mr Fox in store do they? HMV and Sainsburys are both charging 19.99, but I'd be interested to know what ASDA and Tesco are asking. Cheers.

Ah yes it seems so sorry mate. Strangely it came un-sealed too but was in perfect condition so nothing to worry about. Hope it is not a trend though.

FWIW i just check hotukdeals every few days, so usually spot the bargains in time.

Yes I noticed that and it didn`t make sense as the blu ray has more features too along with improved picture quality. Must have been a mistake as its the other way around on that link now but if they state that price and it doesn`t go up before you buy it they probably have to honour it.

They've switched the prices back around now, so the Blu is 12.99 and the DVD 9.99. annoyingly I cancelled my pre-order earlier this week after Empire stated that the dvd has really small subtitles on it, figuring I'd wait for some Blu-ray specific reviews before shelling out.

It ended up being 21 at my nearest Asda last friday, so I picked it up at HMV. The vast majority of my blu-ray purchases for new releases will be done as pre-orders from now on. I ordered Zombieland and A Serious Man on Monday and they were shipped out yesterday, in an attempt to arrive on the actual day of release. By my reckoning they should actually be with me by the weekend tho.

My Memory's Buy on Get One Free is quite good at the moment. Includes fairly recent titles like District 9, 2012, Moon, Terminator 4.

I just picked up District 9 and Zombieland for 20 which isn't bad for two recent films.
